Newbie question here, What is the advantages and reasoning for having the last round bolt hold open effect?? I have a surefire 30rd and noticed it did that, i just pulled the mag out and the bolt shut, was it supposed to stay open for the next mag??? THANX!!!

I emailed saigastock.com about 830 pm est last friday night not expecting to hear anything until monday(today). To my surprise an hour later when I checked my email Katherine at saigastock Shelbyville KY. had emailed me back stating they would be there until 1045 est and that if i called I could order that product that night. Just to try and help out Donut, I find that if i open the pin that holds the tube down all the way then it actually wont come lose, I have to play with it a bit back and fourth before I find the specific sweet spot to yank it out. Hopfully that helps

When I first got this rifle I noticed the small amount of accessories available on the net specifically for the Saigas, but I'll tell you the truth this forum has been a GREAT wealth of knowledge and a bigtime eye opener. Heya, the window your getting is from WINDOWS XP telling you that its detected multiple AVPs. Go to start/control panel/ windows security center and you'll see FIREWALL and ANTI VIRUS PROTECTION. Hit the recommendations button and check the box saying that you'll monitor them yourself. That should take care of the message. Thats just window wanting to make sure you have some type of protection on your PC, and it doesnt always get it right. The above UNINSTALL software recommended should work to get rid of the old AVP(anti virus protection).Now what I would do... Like the gentleme
