  9. saiga, are a risky gun to buy, but like any risk, there is potential reward. the russians seriously lack quality control. I would not be surprised if the barrel came warped from factory. But when you get one that is cherry, it is really an amazing gun.
  10. grab the spring loaded leaver with a pair of pliers and pull down until you reach the stop, then slide off to the rear of the gun.
  11. Thanks, Leo...say do you know how to take that stock apart? The only screw I see is that same one on the adj. mechanism that just spins with the holding bushing...there is a tiny slot in the side just below the screw head, not sure what that's for??? (maybe insert something to hold the bushing and then back out the screw??) (My 1st time to use this type of stock.....) I'll take my camera to my shop and take photos and do a write up on how to take a t6 part. I sell tapco, but I also sell Ace Stocks which are much nicer.
  12. yeah the screw doesn't tight it. you could either mod what you have like i mentioned above or buy a higher grade component. Tapco isn't bad, it just not as nice as more expensive parts The thing is. . . . . . . a milspec no-name buttstock assembly + AK to AR adapter isn't that much more (if not less, depending on where you buy your stuff) than the Crapco T6. okay, I get it. you don't like tapco

  14. can you clarify your question, what spins? Screws coming lose, your best bet is blue loctite, if you want to take out the play in the length adjustments of the collapsable stock . disassemble stock and clean it with a solvent and then fill the position holes with epoxy. let cure, and then dill out the wholes with a higher tolerance to the locking pin.
  15. check out this article https://www.lewismachine.net/media/magazine...cleJuly2006.pdf
  16. no they are specifically made for the 6.8, it just they fit the same in the lower.
  17. all you need is a 5.56 lower, infact there is no such thing as a 6.8 lower.
  18. I priced out a complete 6.8 upper w/ accessories I can offer you from LMT. See PDF 6.8_conversion_kit.pdf
  19. you will need a different lower (AR10) for a 308 upper. I would go with a 6.8 spc, .458 socom or a 50 cal Beowulf. 762x39 you will do best with a saiga.
  20. Great, so I get to pay extra in taxes to support the people who will rob me because I will not be allowed to defend my self or property. EXACTLY! It really isn't as bad as we paint it - it's Worse! But we ARE fighting the good fight here. Only a few laws are fashiso-communist and we are working on those. Worst is no CCW for honest citizens, followed by assaut weapon regrestration/assault pistol ban and limits on capacity of mags that can be x-ferred in state. The price of living is HIGH here but there is $$$$ to be made. Besids someone needs to moove here to take my place when I escape! Oh well, the money is nearly triple what I am making doing research at FSU. If I bring my weapons do I have to register them or is it only if I buy one there?
  21. My brother in-law had a airsoft ar15. the charging handle only went back two inches. so when he handed it to me, telling me it operated like the real thing , I broke it.
  22. "ACE Original Skeleton Stock. End cap and butt are machined from solid aluminum billet, oxide blasted and hard anodized. Top bar and center brace are turned from the super strong engineered polymer Delrin."
