  1. Thanks for everyones reply! I now have the thumb hole stock with the unmodified pistol grip... It is very uncomfortable to shoot in my opinion with this stock. I read somewhere that the Choate Dragunov Stock stock has a small hand grip. Is this true? I have big hands and am looking for comfort. Again thanks to all for your help!
  2. Hi all. I was thinking about purchasing a Choate Dragunov Stock to put on my .308. I am moving the trigger forward and want to make sure the Choate will be just a bolt on with little or no modifications. Thanks in advance.
  3. If this is true it is going to be a long time before we see another shipment of Siagas to the States. Especially now that we have Obama as the Pres. Get you weapons now everyone!!
  4. I luckily bought mine from Whittaker guns about 2 months ago for $499.00 plus shipping a dealer transfer. Total about $545.00
  5. Thanks for the suggestions. The pin idea is brilliant! No deformation with the #00? How long did you have the mag full? Just wondering if it would start to deform after so long.
  6. I read that if you leave a loaded mag connected to the S12 that the top shell will become deformed due to pressure resulting in improper feeding. Make sense, but if I use my S12 for home defense I would like it ready to respond and not worry about a feed issue. Any one have an issue with this? Thanks in advance.
  7. Hi all. Just purchased a Saiga 12 gauge. I did a trigger and pistol grip conversion of my Saiga 7.62 about 6 months ago. Is there anything that might be different when working on the 12? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Bob
  8. Whittakers.com still has them at $499 19" threaded barrel!! I just ordered mine. $530.39 shipped to Ohio.
  9. Mine has not budged since install. Only put about 200 rounds through her though. Just make sure the screw is VERY tight!
  10. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I kinda like the dominatrix idea. Not for the gun I suppose though. But maybe if... Oh never mind! I will check my local sporting goods store and see what they have. Thanks for the interesting ideas everyone! I think I am gonna like this place!
  11. This one might work. The AR15 boys like em. I was afraid I was gonna get one of those suggestions from you guys! I will check with the girlfriend and see if she has the thicker ones for heavy flow days. LOL
  12. Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent recoil pad for my Tromix stock on my 7.62 and my thumb hole stock for my 308. Call me a wimp, but man my shoulder starts to hurt after a couple hundred rounds. Thanks in advance!
  13. Thank you kind sir! Wish I had a better camera but am spending all my cash on firearms. ; ) The 7.62 conversion was not as hard as I thought it would be. Just took some advice from the fine folks on the forum and got it done in about 5 hours. Gotta get them sighted in better next time I get out. Want to see what the 308 can do with the posp scope.
  14. that rifle looks pretty damned sweet. Finally got out on the range to test me new toys yesterday! Fine weapons and had a blast! I am hooked on these Saigas. Need a 223 now! Here are a few pics of my 7.62 and my 308. Pic quality is not very good but my camera is not either! LOL.
  15. I'll take it for $45 shipped! Paypal or M.O is fine with me either way. Email sent!
  16. I have a US Made Folding Stock Mechanism for sale. On my rifle for a couple weeks and have decided to go with a fixed stock. A few nicks where the paint is missing but nothing a touch up would take care of. Paid $65 for it and asking $55 shipped. Pics upon request. The pic posted is a new hinge. Mine is 99% the same in condition. A new hinge with just a few paint scratches! Also have some 5mm black plugs to cover the holes left by the pistol grip conversion. Have 4 total. Free with hinge purchase! Thanks for looking. Bob
