  1. Mine is my SASS cowboys action alias, that kinda morphed into my internet Alias. It's short for "Moves like a Rooted oak". I used to play sand vollyball, and they always gave me crap because my feet never left the sand (I don't jump and dive), and the name "Mighty Oak" came about, ML Roak was a more "cowboy" version of that. See ya, ML Roak
  2. if you want to run slugs on #2, get ahold of the Winchester LE low recoil slug loads, they wouldn't cycle my saiga on #1. Same with the low recoil oo buck.
  3. I bought a POS Puma PPS50 last year from a local dealer, it came with the factory 50 round drum. After attempting to shoot this gun I had considered trying to pawn it off at the Tulsa gunshow, but my conscious got the better of me and I couldn't do it. As set-up from the factory this gun wouldn't fire 2 rounds in succession without a failure, it was a $575 paper-weight that had sat in my gun-safe ever since. After a friend of mine bought one of the BDM 10-22 drums, we tried it at my range, and to my astonishment, it worked really well, even through my old, very well-used 10-22, I got to lo
  4. I scribed a line on my BHO where it protrudes from the receiver when it is engaged, then measured a spot that I could drill and tap a 4-40 screw hole to accept a small allen head screw that would keep the BHO from being allowed to enter the receiver without the screw being removed, never had it happen again. I cause this problem with factory guns, it seems to afflict left handers worse than right handers. On the gun I did for my Sarge at work I welded a small nub to the front of the BHO at the bottom and contoured it to look nice, it serves the same purpose as the screw, as the BHO can't be
  5. while loading up some 45acp today I stumbled across a couple things. One, Wolf 45acp uses a standard large pistol primer, and I never even noticed it going through the press, anybody ever mess with reloading Wolf? Two, CCI blazer uses a small pistol primer, I messed around and loaded one to see if it would work, but haven't (and not sure if I will) fired it yet. Any unseen problems with this? I don't think I would use it for everyday shooting, but I wonder if I should be hanging on to it instead of throwing it away (exp. Zombie Apocalypse). I wish that the ammo/brass manufacturers would ge
  6. If you get one of those cheap LEE 12ga loaders you could put the star crimp back on. It would help your feeding issues.
  7. I have a CMMG that eats cheapo federals all day long with Black Dawg mags. Well worth the money.
  8. got mine, will try it out in the morning, Thanks, ML
  9. Howdy, I have a hard to come by, still in the package DPMS lower parts kit, it's everything you need for a stripped AR lower except the buttstock/buffer tube assemblies. All the pins, springs, fire control parts, and pistol grip. This is new in the factory package. I need $60 plus shipping (I assume shipping to be around $8 CONUS, USPS Priority Mail) Thanks.
  10. I'll take the 12g mag if still available. Joe It's your's, I'll pm you
