Curiously, Centerfire doesn't list the 19" barreled Saiga anymore. I just checked and you won't even find it with a search. Maybe they're out?? Maybe just waiting to increase the price?? I got mine a week ago. $549 free shipping, just like they said. They do list the 24" though.

My local gun shop has a 24" in stock. $699. It looks freakish. Like someone stuck a broom handle in it. I was messing with it the other day and the thing swings like.. well... a broom handle.

I too want to be "that guy"! I just got mine from Centerfire today. Made in October of 08 - not that it matters for the gas ports as I haven't looked in the box. Still in the heavy plastic bag and unopened. I wonder just how long I will be able to hold off on opening it. I think I can hear it calling me... problem is it's speaking Russian....

OK, newbie questions: Of all the magazines out there to choose from, which one should I stock up on? Sure Fire? AGP? Promag? What are good prices for the above as well? I'm not worried about a few dollars here or there. Just want what works the best and is reliable. I am not restricted to size - yet! thank you Mr. "President". Funny... $530 for a $350 gun. Someone making a little along the way? Can't be THAT much more to manufacture these today as they were a year ago. Looks like short shipping is creating more demand by limiting supply. Sure enough... Saigas are entering the world of Beanie Babies. Is it just my computer or is Centerfire not available on-line anymore? I haven't been able to access their web site for 2 days. Even a web search won't connect.

I contacted Centerfire this morning. They told me they have not received their shipment yet and don't know when they will be getting it. "Soon" is all I could get out of them. I've had a 109 on order since February 14th. They told me I was on the list to get one in the next shipment. Then I asked the most important question... "How much will they cost?". The nice lady told me $399.99, BUT if there was a change to that I would be notified... hmmm... waiting still. Interesting factoid. It is taking so long to get this that my dealers FFL date expired. LOL.

I spoke with a very nice woman at Centerfire Systems today and she told me they ordered hundreds of Saiga 12's. They recieved 25. Yup... only 25 of them and they have shipped all of them out. She did say they are expecting a HUGE shipment in next month and the orders will be filled on the first come first served basis. I was also told they received nearly all of the other Saigas they ordered, just not the 12's. I asked what price the 25 went out at and she said "Just like it says on the web site... $399.99" and "If you ordered at that, you will get them at that". So there you go. Now

Just spoke with Centerfire Systems (2-19-08 11:00am) and was told they still have none in stock but are looking at the first of March. Have to wait and see.....
