  1. Whereabouts in CNY are you? Eric
  2. I ordered a 10rd AGP mag yesterday through the e-store and within 2 hours had an email saying it had been shipped! That's pretty good customer service if you ask me. Can't wait till it gets here! Eric
  3. Probably not too many haha. That was the hardest I've ever been kicked when shooting 3" mags. I had a feeling these guns would take a beating, it was made in Russia of course! Its just the "I just got it and don't want to break it" paranoia I think. I'll probably stick to buck and slug with this gun, with some birdshot mixed in here and there. With only a 19" barrel and no choke, it won't do me much good for shooting turkey loads. I've got 2 other 12's and a 16 ga, if I want to hunt birds. Eric
  4. To quote WaffenSchmied in another thread: "Far more concerning is the use of the wrong ammunition in a fast cycling, box fed, semi auto shotgun (3" magnum shells would be a good example). Ammunition intended for use in breech loaders and pumps can damage an S12, regardless of whether the gun is a tuned up custom, an "off the shelf" sporter, or typical conversion configuration. Anyone using these loads in an S12 should not be surprised if they break a control arm, beat the rear trunnion to death, shear a barrel pin, launch a barrel, or experience other overload related malfunctions.
  5. What brand mold are you using? I'm assuming these aren't rifled slugs correct? Eric
  6. Hi all, looking for a Saiga factory 10rd magazine follower for 7.63x39. I tried to mod mine to hold more than 10rds and now it jams because I couldn't leave well enough alone! Anyone got a spare? Eric
  7. Thanks! I converted it myself and have put a lot of time a money into it. In the end, it was worth it though. Eric
  8. Here's mine. Nothing fancy and works great! Eric
  9. I'm playing with the idea of adding a rear sight to my receiver cover to gain a longer sight radius. I dont want to replace my front sight because my muzzle break is welded on, so this would just be a new rear sight. Who has done it themselves? What did you do, or wish you had not done? I have a Williams adjustable rear sight the come off my .45-70 and the contour on the underside matches the contour of the top of the receiver cover perfectly. I'm thinking JB weld, but I'd like to see what others have done first. Eric
  10. Hi all. I'm looking for a used AK receiver cover so I can play around with adding a rear sight further back, sorta like a galil. If I mess up, I don't want it to be on my original cover. Anyone want to part with one? Eric
  11. Title says it all. Can it be done easily and work reliably? Just a thought. Eric
  12. Just so you know, I contacted pistonring8 over the phone and talked to him about buying this particular item, and told him that I could not purchase the receiver portion of it as it would be an SBR. Instead, I bought the rest of the parts(i.e. a parts kit, nothing illegal about a parts kit!). I ordered a barrel extension right away and as soon as it gets here it will be welded to the barrel to make it the legal minimum of 16". Now everyone can sleep at night knowing that he did not sell me an SBR, it was a PARTS KIT! Stop your damn bitching and moaning now and go do something useful wo
  13. I want to let everyone know that pistonring8 is a great guy to deal with. Very fast shipping and good at keeping in touch when any questions or concerns arise. He is very knowledgeable and if anyone is thinking of dealing with him that they can rest assured he is good on his word. Thanks again! Eric
  14. Well thank you very much for the kind words!
  15. PM sent, but I just answered my own question. Would you be interested in any trades?
  16. Now that I think about it, once the work is finished on it, I would be willing to trade it for a .223 VEPR or a converted Saiga .223, or even an unconverted .223 Saiga plus some cash. Eric
  17. If anyone has a spare VEPR forearm screw, please let me know. I need it to finish a preoject of mine. Thanks! Eric
  18. Well, Im going to keep this rifle up for sale, but I'm going to have a friend of mine help me finish the job of making an attachment point for the lower handguard. As it stands now, the handguard isnt attached to the rifle in any way. Would anyone be interested in it after its done? I know the wood is mis-matched, but there isnt anything I can do about that, so once I finish the handguard part of it, It wont be a project rifle anymore, it'll be done! Let me know if youre interested. Thanks for looking. Oh yea, I found the factory original sling that goes with this rifle. It'll be included
