Hi all. I have here a VEPR rifle that I bought a few months back. I started converting it to look more like an AK but I dont have the skills/supplies/time to finish it. I would like to sell it to fund another project. The Gun: Its a 2003 RobArm .308 VEPR. It is in great shape with hardly any scratches on it at all. The bore is bright and shiny. I have only shot about 20 rounds through it, and the gentleman I bought it from took excellent care of it. The safety lever has a notch cut in it to serve as a makeshift bolt hold open. The rear sight is adjustable for windage as well as elevation.

Hoop: Thanks! I've been working on it for the last two years and I think I've finally got it the way I want it. I'm afraid if I keep messing with it its gonna get worn out from taking it apart repeatedly. I think its time to get another one! Eric

Vjor: On the bolt carrier I used Birchwood Casey's blue and rust remover to get the black paint off. I had it like that for a while but then I spray painted it with gray primer. I should get some Duracoat clear to finish it off though. Eric

Here's an updated pic of my Saiga. I refinished the wood with Red Oak stain with 2 coats of poly on top of it. Now the metal just needs to be refinished. Eric
