Hey guys, I want to get a sling adapter plate for my modified saiga 7.62 to run a single point sling. Anyone know of one that fits on well? I'm running a tapco saw grip with the g-2 trigger build and want it to fit nicely. Does the AK or VEPR do well in rain or will it start rusting immediately? I was looking at buying a Remington XCR (treated stainless steel), but just found out that there are a bunch of VEPRs out for sale around my area. I was wondering how they do in harsh/wet environments.... From what I've read, they have some sort of anti-corrosive finish. How easy is it to scratch and repair? Also, how does the wood stock hold up on the veprs? -
I bought this rifle from another forum member several months ago. It's been a fine, functional rifle but right now I need money a bit more than I need the rifle. It's a Norinco SKS, Model M, that accepts 7.62x39 AK magazines from the factory. There is a small crack in the stock along the side that does not impede function, and the gas tube release lever likes to work its way loose during fire. Otherwise, it has been entirely reliable - I fired two full 30-round magazines without a single failure. I can find and post pics upon request. I'd like $400 plus actual shipping for this rifle. I -

Hey Forum members, What functions would you like to see in the ultimate AK magazine? Are there things you see in AR magazines that you wish we could have in an AK? SOLD thanks! Pre Ban Calyco AK Produced at Ling Hua in China Blued finish Greenish black fiberglass furniture. Numbers Match Includes Chinese mag pictured As I understand it these were the earliest Chinese imports. predating Norinco and Polytech. Some marks/light pitting in the finish but its still looks great. bore and internals look good. This a really neat and uncommon gun and its tough to let it go. Up for trade is my Taurus Judge Magnum (3" cylider) in stainless. Shown with the Hogue Monogrip (awesome) and I will also include the factory "Ribber" grip. I love this gun! Hi I'm new to the fourm I just converted my saiga 7.62x39 to a pistol grip configuration and high cap mags. Now I am looking at doing the handguards. I already have a wood handguard set I just need the normal akm gas tube and a bolt on bottom handguard retainer. PLEASE let me know if you have either of these, thanks! -
So, I was browsing J&G Sales when I happened upon this: From J&G Sales Item #1-1995xq It looks pretty good but the bad news is that it looks like Century my be doing the conversions, which could lead to what might otherwise be perfectly acceptable rifles getting a bad reputation the way WASRs do. If they're decent rifles, I'd hate to see the PAP smeared. Anyway, it looks interesting. I'm not $700 worth of interested in it, but it might be someone else's cup of tea.

WOW! I couldnt help but smile when I saw this at the Cabelas in Glendale, AZ. I dont know if this is new or not but I think its a marketing masterpiece. I am going to buy some just because haha. Its a little expensive, $20 a box, and its steel cased but I am curious to see if anybody has used this. P.S....They have directions on the back on how to kill zombies
