I haven't tested this out yet but it seems like it should work and it doesn't look really cheesy or backyard mechanic ish. Just went down to the auto parts store asked for a small diameter piece of vacuum line. since I only asked for about 5 inches of the stuff they let me have it for free. Only other thing needed is some super glue and about 5 mins. I cut off about 2.5 inches of the line, ran my pocket knife through one side of the vacuum line, put a small amount of superglue on the edge of the dust cover that needed to be covered. Then I slid the sliced piece of vac. line in place

Hey Saiga clan, (Hope I didn't overlook or missed the discussion on topic). I am looking for my "dream rifle case" and thought: why there are no Saiga-branded cases around? I understand that "Saiga" name could be trademarked and owned by Izhmash (I don't know for a fact, but I guess it is). How about Forum's own "Saiga-12" or "Saiga-12.com"? MAKC, Mods: any suggestions? With all talents and resources we have here, there should be a way for someone to come out with worthy designs, specific to Saiga rifles (my primary interest, since I'm in AK clones; specifically in folders) a -

Pelican 1720 Case for the 12.5" Saiga 12 SBS

Almost done with the new Pelican 1720 case. Decided to just use it for the SBS and mags/accessories. Not completely done, but It's coming along. Still need to clean the chalk marks off of it. and cut a couple more slots in it for other muzzle attachments. -
I'm planning to get a new gun case for my S-12, I bought the Classic Arms converted Saiga which came with a Bulldog case. After adding a 10 round mag and red dot, it's too big for the case. I'm looking at the NC Star gun case on Amazon with an external mag pouch. Search Amazon for NcStar Gun Case. My converted gun is 39" long, I'll be getting the 42" case. I'll post fitment pics when I get it. I hope others will post their bags and photos.
