I am looking to buy a replacement factory FSB with thread shroud for my '14 iz-132. It needs to be a newer one that is pinned under the barrel and not dimpled into the barrel. If anyone has a spare one left over from a conversion that is looking to sell it please let me know! Thanks.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a smith or otherwise competent machinist who could thread my 5.45 for a 74 brake. Pardon my ignorance. If it cant be done with a hand-held power tool with a number of spinning attachments I don't have the capability or know how. I emailed Tom Cole? at cadiz a couple years back, around when they had the fire, and it probably wasn't the right time. Anyone know of anyone else local dayton/columbus/cincy area?

I don't have the ability to post a picture at the moment, but long story short, I had a Bulgarian AK-74 FSB installed on my Saiga x39, and the smith who I had do it for me installed it, leaving about 1/8" between the front edge of the FSB and the muzzle. That being said, will this decrease the effectiveness of any of my muzzle attachments due to more of the muzzle possibly sticking into the attachments? In my AK-74 brake, the muzzle sticks out almost in line with the first hole (if that makes sense). It's not a problem as long as the performance won't be hindered..probably too late to change i

Hello everyone. this is my first post. I recently purchased an IZ132 from a Dunhams in PA and looking to do a conversion. I cant seem to find the answer to my question in multiple forums or google. Is the bayonet lug supposed to be on the front sight post or gas block? Also does the cleaning rod free float or is it attached somehow? Basically i want to replace the gas block and front sight post with something more "original" and am confused on what I should be purchasing, and where to purchase it. I just ordered a new Russian vented gas tube. This is my first AK and I am not really that

After removing and pushing back the front sight block off of a Saiga .308, I figured I was smart enough to fix the canted sight on my Century Arms milled receiver Polish AKM 60. Apparently not that easy. I took out the pins and bashed away at it with a soft mallet but the sucker won't move. Any chance these are threaded on? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Somewhere I read someones post about pinning the FSB on, and they recommended "sighting it in" first, at the range, then marking it and pinning it in place. Kinda like bore sighting a scope I guess. I can't find the thread, but had a question about it. Was that only for a saiga that originally had a pressed on sight, where you have to drill pin holes yourself? My factory FSB was pinned, so it already has holes, so am I correct in assuming that i'm not gonna be able to budge it from where the pin holes are anyway so might as well pin the new one where the pins line up, and just drif
