  1. Stock set is sold This four piece stock set is a take-off from my Arsenal SGL-21. The components are US made, Warsaw Pact length buttstock and will fit stamped AK47/74 variants. The hand guard has a heat shield. Comes with cleaning kit that fits in buttstock. Pistol grip comes with screw and t-nut. The stock set is used and shows some abrasion that I've tried to capture in the pics. For the most part it's in great shape and the abrasion is only on the buttstock. This rifle was babied so I'm not even sure if it's abrasion or just some funkiness in the plastic. K-Var sells this set n

  7. Hello all, I am a CA resident and am limited in what I can do to my rifle. I would like to swap out the butt stock that came on the gun for something that looks better and has a more solid feel. In my opinion, the butt stock that came on the rifle feels cheap. I don't want the hassle of installing a bullet button and putting on a pistol grip or collapsible stock. Therefore, my question is this: Are there after-market, conventional stocks out there for sale? I want something that looks cool and is also of better quality. I've looked around a little but no luck finding anything so far.
  8. I just tried my Saiga 12 last night with the new Mako recoil absorbing stock on it, and I do think it did provide noticeable felt recoil reduction, more noticeable with heavier loadings like the 3" #4 turkey loads I shot. My setup was formerly the ace stock mounted to their folding mechanism and that bolted to a receiver block. My tang was removed to do that setup. I run a competition brake so already have some recoil reduction going on, but I wanted to reduce recoil on heavy loads like 3" hunting and self defense loadings, so I ordered the pig-nose adapter and a mil-spec AR-Buffer tube. 9. I just received a Stormwerkz folding mechanism in the mail today. I've never used a folding mechanism before, but after reading complaints about the wobbliness that tend to afflict some ACE folders I decided to go with the Stormwerkz folder since it seemed like a better design. It was a smidge cheaper than the Ace too, that also helped the decision. Aside from the fact that the dark purplish finish doesn't really match the rest of the gun, it seems like a really solid piece and locks up tighter than a male bovine's posterior orifice. Anyway, I have mounted the folder to a CSS receiver bloc
