  1. Good news, guys! We got our hands on some Windham AR's, and are selling them at a great sale price. All you have to do to get this rifle back to fighting specs is pop off the bullet button and put a thirty round magazine into it, and both tasks are easily accomplished. We can remove the bullet button and install the right parts here for a small fee, or you can do it yourself and save a little bit of cash. Either way, you get a great AR out of the deal! The rifles themselves are Windham Weaponry WW-15's, and they are very well put together. SALE PRICE: $699 http://www.mississippiauto
  2. I went to the Texas International Firearms Festival and shot quite a few AR pistols in different calibers suppressed and non with the Sig brace. Few weeks later of some back and forth, I've decided to build one for myself in 7.62x39. I"m not a big fan of 5.56 out of the shorter barrels. I've bought a Phase 5 tactical Pistol lower and their Hex2 buffer tube kit along with the SBX brace. I plan on using a 10.5 barrel but if there are good arguments for a 7.5, I"m welcome for someone to sell me on it. I'm also looking at lower parts kits. Right now, the Palmetto State Armory kit wit
  3. Hey Saiga enthusiasts, Here is my "evolution in progress". Wanted to blend the best of both wolds: AR upgradeability and conveniences with AK robustness and reliability. Let's see it in process of conversion. As received: As assembled: As disassembled/field stripped: Stripped receiver: "Poor peasant's" stocked version: Customized and polished G2 FCG, Hogue PG, OEM-style trigger guard, CSS bullet guide (all from Carolina Shooters Supply). With (heavily hacked) MSA AR mag adapter, Magpul MOE stock, PMAG, and StrikeHard Gear chest rig and MOLLE bayo adapter. ACE mech from CSS; plate
  4. So I'm building an ar 15 pistol and am looking at lowers and colors. I was either planning on going with an fde aero precision lower or a black seekins precision forged lower. Anyone have experience with the seekins? The reason I thought about fde is the interior of most my cars are tan so it woul kinda match lol I am gonna be using this when I have to go up in the mountain. I am currently using a Draco for this.
  5. Been looking for a good optic for the AR so I figured I'd give this one a try. I may end up changing the mount though. Anyone got one or have experience with one? Pics when I get it!

  11. Selling my unused, second hand AR mag adapter by Magnolia State Armory (MSA), now known as Texas AK Designs (TAKD) . Asking $75 shipped. Most of the money will go towards my 2nd year of NRA membership and a becoming a member of GOA. (And cover shipping cost) Money order preferred. Post with reply "(I'll take it/question/etc.), pm sent" after sending a PM. Thank you ML
  12. So, anybody familiar with this device? https://halix.co/innovations.html I'm wondering what the ATF thinks of this thing, if it's actually 100% legal, and if it is, if it's actually practical, or just a gimmick. Personally, I'll be laughing my ass off until I get a chance to dislocate my jaw with one.
  13. Dude, I love doing business with those guys. We aren't just customers to Keith and Cliff - we're all partners in a collective centered around technical innovation, firearm education and personal/professional growth. They have the skills, knowledge and connections that allow me to do whatever I want with any firearm that I want to buy, build or customize. Now with their brick and mortar storefront, it's icing on the cake. Awesome to deal with, an honor to associate with - Thanks for making me feel special when I come around. See you guys at the top.
  14. I just received two of the small versions of the AR forearms to go onto a 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 and as always the service was outstanding. Anyways when I installed them on both weapons the clamp that goes around the barrels does not clamp down tightly over either barrel. The forearm is pretty stout and seems nice and sturdy but there is a small amount of play at the barrel clamp, I'm wondering if this is normal and the way they are designed. I just wanna make sure that I didn't get the wrong size by mistake. It seems that as long as the back of the forearm stays put and does not work it'
  15. Because we all know zombies are a cakewalk. An Armalite AR-180B was my first black rifle. I decided to pick up a used one after I sold mine several years ago. I also decided to paint the furniture and integral pistol grip because I have a thing for green, black rifles. The cheekpad and creeper face are textured, self-adhesive neoprene rubber. The scope mount is by Stormwerkz and the red dot is a Primary Arms with a removable base.
  16. I'm getting into AR building. Hopefully it will become part of a career path for me. I just bought some AR tools and slowly collecting stuff to start off cheap. I'm looking for parts you are willing to part with. I don't want to pay retail or really even close to it as I need to lose as little money as possible when I resell the rifles. I need to gain confidence in this and that means building, shooting, selling. Parts most interested in: Barrels Stripped uppers Barrel Parts ***Stripped lowers (if in the state of PA. I'll provide necessary documentation but I could deal with an FFL
  17. As a relatively newcomer to the Saiga family, having taken my AK conversion to the range just one time, I came away from that outing having truly enjoyed the experience. I like my Saiga a great deal, much more than a friend's AR chambered in Short Russian (7.62X39). So, from time to time, I Google "AK47 vs. AR15," as I did last evening. I'd say 60-70% of those comparisons come away favoring the AR15. Judgements such as: More accurate, accurate to 600 yards, more energy past 400 yards are almost always shown on the plus side of the AR15 equation. However, when it comes to reliability an
  18. Hoping to expand on the AR15 forum resources: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_4_92/57067_.html&page=1. Who are your favorite sources for imported and US made Galil parts? In particular, I'm looking for a collapsible AK stock (not AR adapt; US MADE ideal) and operators manual for production models.
