  1. I bought an internal stock adapter from dph, and grinding off the tang is simple enough, but directly above my pistol grip there are two pins riveted in. They are in the spot where I'm supposed to screw the adapter into the reciever. I can't take the pins out because one of them is holding a small skinny spring that travels the length of the reciever on the left hand side. What am I supposed to do? All the instruction videos just say cut off the tang, but don't mention these pins.

  3. I ordered a Renegadebuck adapter a couple weeks ago and finally got it installed... I knew that this adapter was built with the saiga .223 in mind for form and fit, but I needed to fit it to my SLR-106fr... well...it freakin' works like a champ. Solid construction, tight fit and runs like a raped ape with AR mags! Some people will crack on me for modifying a high-end AK like the 106, but hey...it's my gun and I love it!!! THANKS to RENEGADEBUCK!!!!!! FINE WORK!!!!
  4. Selling my unused, second hand AR mag adapter by Magnolia State Armory (MSA), now known as Texas AK Designs (TAKD) . Asking $75 shipped. Most of the money will go towards my 2nd year of NRA membership and a becoming a member of GOA. (And cover shipping cost) Money order preferred. Post with reply "(I'll take it/question/etc.), pm sent" after sending a PM. Thank you ML
  5. We have 9 of the MSA Gen 2 Internal Stock Adapters left we are blowing out to make way for the new TAKD line up. $25 each shipped. Msg me here with questions. Thanks, Willempje
  6. Hello, I finally received my MSA adapter and before I start milling out my receiver I decided to see how my Pmags fit in there. My first impression of the adapter was the release felt very gritty. I first tried a cheap lancer mag and thought I would have to break the mag to release it from the grip of the adapter. Then I tried some of my mag-pro pmags and they took quite a bit of effort to insert, did not drop free and took a lot of effort to pull out. I do understand it's not installed in the rifle yet and have read some users have posted better luck with USGI metal mags. Regarding the gritty feel to the release; if I push it to the side it will not spring back in its place unless I push it back. Almost as if the spring is too weak or some filing/lubrication needs to be done. Any suggestions on that part? Also, can someone send the directions that MSA supplies with some of the orders. EDIT: As Schultze noted they are designed for metal mags, looks like I have an excuse to buy some more mags now
