    Chaos titan extended rail FTE

I just recently got my S12. It shot low brass extremely well right out of the box (gas setting 2) with no FTE. I put my chaos titan extended rail on and it FTE's every single round. I see there's a small port on the left side of the gas block that's covered by the rail. Would this have anything to do with it? If that's the case, do I just need to drill the rail to match up with the port? I did the paperclip in the port hole check. There's 3 holes, all accessible with the paperclip in a 45 degree angle.
  3. I just recieved my Brand new Mini Draco from Buds Gunshop and bought about $500 in extra parts plus an ATF Tax stamp for the Form 1 Paper work to get this little guy a new limb..Here is the mini draco project in progress. As always Chaos always makes an Awesome product..I was one of the first guys to buy one of your Chaos rails when you made them for the Saiga 12 and i will continue to buy there products...for this little guy I had to do a little modifications to the Chaos AK Titan Rear Rail gas lever for it work on the Mini Draco Gas Tube..After everything was dremeled down to fit.. the little lever that is used to remove the pin for the gas tube broke off while i was installing back on..no worries it still works but it will requre a bullet to turn the latch upwards..I wonder if cameron has this as a replacement part?Ill give him a call tomorrow and see if he does..below are the pics..

  8. 01/06/14 UPDATE: Price dropped to $50 shipped. 01/02/14 UPDATE: Posting this on the Vepr Forum too now. Guys, this is a steal! Chaos had this rail at $85 + shipping over the holidays and I priced mine here to match that (-used item), but Chaos is back selling these at $99.99. Also, this thing doesn't even have a single major scratch on it. I even cleaned and lightly oiled it for you! I am selling this used Chaos tri-rail will all the hardware. It definitely has signs of use, but is in overall great condition. Because Chaos rails are modular, you can get a top or extended top rail from them and turn this into a full quad. Official product description: “Made for Saiga 12, the Chaos Tri Rail System is manufactured to highest standards in the industries. Our MIL-STD-1913 rails are made from aircraft grade 6061 aluminum alloy. Hard coat military specification MIL-A-8625 or Type III non-reflective black. Weight: 10 oz.” One caveat: It has a weaver sling adaptor attached to it (see pics) and the set screw which holds it in place is stripped, making it impossible to remove without tools. I thought about drilling or dremelling into the thing and removing it, but decided that someone might actually want that thing on there and think of it as a bonus. It shouldn’t be hard to remove if you don’t want it though. ASKING PRICE: $55 $50 (shipped via USPS First Class with insurance and delivery confirmation to the 48 Continental States) Payment: verified PayPal only, please. The rail will be shipped the next business day after payment is received (and cleared), using USPS with insurance and delivery confirm. I will provided you the tracking info ASAP. I ship fast and overdo it with the packaging. I am PayPal verified and have great eBay feedback. You can check it here: http://myworld.ebay.com/prizrakat First person who posts "I'll take it" and PMs me, gets it.* *I do reserve the right not to sell to people with no forum history or bad rep. Thanks for looking and please, don't hesitate to post or PM any questions! PICTURES:
  9. Cameron, I have to tell you how pleased I am with the Chaos Saiga AK Quad Rail. I purchased it just a few days ago, and the order arrived within days. The fit and finish are perfect. The install was a piece of cake, and I am only a novice. With a little dab or locktight, it is solidly connected -- no rattle whatsoever. Thanks again. It is a pleasure to deal with you on this because the product and service are top notch.

  12. For sale, NIB, never mounted Chaos Tri-rail for Saiga 12s. I decided to go another direction with the gun so it's time to clear out the safe and make way for new parts =) MSRP $100, I'd like $80 plus shipping, I'll also throw in 3 Knights armament rail covers (used) for good measure. I'll also consider trades for the following Saiga 12 bits: Magwells, Magazines, Any CNC pistol grip adapters... Thanks! Rob
  13. Selling a chaos titan rail with Chaos HK style sights installed. 275 SHIPPED OBO!
  14. I have a Saiga12 (Legion Import) S12 that I am unable to get a Tri or quad rail forfend for due to size and shape of gas block tube. It has a 2 position gas dial in front, an ak style flip rear sight, and a hinged rear cover with permanent rail attached. Conversion completed p/t purchase. I have very limited grip in my hands due to a spinal cord injury after breaking my neck in 2010, and have to have a forward pistol type grip to be able to hold the gun, which I presently only have a rear pistol grip. I wanted the Chaos rail with HK type sights, but unfortunately none will fit, per Cameron from Chaos. Greg from Carolina Shooting said their rails (all) will not fit. I do not want to permanently alter the gun (nor do I have the ability/skill) and am limited to what I own since I am in CA. Cameron (Chaos)is under the impression that my Saiga is Military and not a "regular" Saiga 12, not sure why. I have called and emailed Legion with no reply! Multiple attempts. Place of purchase as confused as I of the distinct variation from other S12's. Exhaustive online and gun show search has come up empty. Can you please help? Porkypine

Does any one know what these are going for these days from a private seller?
  18. Hello, New to the forum and figured I would start out by testing the waters to see if anyone has a Chaos Porkypine available. Looking for one that is either new in the box or just in really nice shape. Will pay well for one... I see they've been going for $100 to $150. I don't mind spending $150 to $200, depending on condition. Thanks! Chad

  20. I recently fell into possession of a Chaos 13" extended quad-rail for the Saiga-12. This is the one with the solid, single-piece top rail and no sights. Since I don't have a Saiga to stick it on, and I don't particularly like quads, I'm not really interested in hanging onto it. The previous owner had a black enamel finish put on to make it "more closely match the color of the gun" (his statement, not mine,) and because he didn't like how bright the "CHAOS U.S.A." insignias appeared. The insignia lettering is still clearly visible. It also appears he had to trim the rear-lower receiver key very slightly to make it fit the gun. Cursory inspection reveals only one scuff mark, located inside a groove on the right rail. All screws are included, and are not buggered out. Asking $120 shipped anywhere in the lower 48. Pay by PayPal or USPS money order. PM if interested. Now with photos! The first two photos were taken with flash on to give a better impression of condition, while the next four were taken with natural light only to give a better impression of the color. Unfortunately the natural lighting sucks as it's pouring rain outside right now, but I did the best I could. The last photo was with flash off and had the brightness and contrast altered so you can more clearly see what's going on with the receiver lug.

    Low gas issue.

Ok my Saiga 12 ran ok out of the box even on low brass . On the 5 rd clip the last round always failed to eject. I bought an auto plug, Tapco puck, Chaos titian quad rail, and a 6 position collapsable stock to dress it up. Now it is under gassed to the point it will not eject any rounds. The Autoplug was screwed all the way down to the highest gas setting and still nothing. My system is a 3 port gas system that i was able to run a paper clip threw. I have attached a few pictures of the chaos rail. The one rear exhaust port on the gas block appears to be blocked by the quad rail. Could this be the issue? or does it look like there is enough clearance. Any recommendations?
  22. From the album: Chaos Saiga Rifle Rail

I have seen quite a few different hand-guards, forearms, and rail systems. They were different designs, different level of detail, and different quality… But I must say that when it comes to “rail systems”, Cameron (Chaos, LLC) takes them into the category of ART!!! These are very thought through and incredibly well designed rails! I am yet to see a single rail system from Chaos that I did not like! Saiga-12.com is proud to carry Chaos Products in our e-Store.

  23. Hi All, I would like to hear some reviews on the Chaos quad rail for the Saiga 7.62 from those of you who have experience with it. What are your impressions? What type of optics and or other devices have you found that work well with the rail? I have ordered one and would like to know what type of optics fit the rail the best and work well for short-medium range. Red dot? Holo? Please offer some suggestions. Much appreciated! Thanks!
  24. ALL SOLD I have 1 used Chaos Extended Quad Rail left for sale. Neither one is tapped for HK sights. Both are in good shape, but have been mounted and have had red dot sights mounted to them. This is the last one available. Please note the the vertical scratches on the left side where the two parts meet. I'm asking $70, shipped USPS Priority Mail. Paypal, or USPS money order. First "I'll take it" gets it. Edited to add the picture showing remaining rail.
