  1. I just received this email from MD Arms. They have exited the Saiga 12 drum business. Is this a step toward preparing to offer double stack mags?? We wanted to let everybody be know that we will not be producing the MD-20 drum magazine anymore. We thank everyone who has bought and enjoyed one! What’s out there is it so think hard before you sell one... We have also sold our entire remaining inventory. The buyer has offered a $20 off each coupon to all of MD Arms’s past customers. This discount will only be available for a limited time or limited quantity, which ever is reached first. If you want another one for yourself or know someone that wants one now is the time. When the remaining stock drys up that will be it for new in the package MD-20 magazines. The MD-20 will know doubt start demanding a premium on its original retail price before long. You can view and purchase the remaining drums for sale at https://www.deguns.net/saiga-drum-858578003018-p/md-20.htm?CartID=1. Don’t forget to enter your $20 off each discount code. Just enter in the coupon code field to receive it. Thanks again everyone and we hope you had a very Merry Christmas!!!! Mike Davidson MD Arms, LTD Copyright © 2017 MD ARMS LTD, All rights reserved. 2. Hi all, Total newbie here. Anyone have suggestions for a magazine loader for my .410 mags and drum? I tried loading my new Saiga .410 15-rd magazines and 30-rd drum by hand and it didn't go particularly well. Got the mags loaded to 12 and had to quit. Drum only took 10 before it wouldn't load anymore, at least not easily. Any direction or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Search didn't yield any particularly relevant threads so I'm starting new. Sorry if it's been covered. Would appreciate any links if I'm oblivious. Thanks.
  3. ALL SOLD Chaos Saiga 12 Titan Quad Rail with H&K Style Sights. Used, with busted bottom main thread and some aluminum grinding work done to accommodate a defective Saiga barrel base. AK-47 7.62x39 75 Round Drum. I believe it's Romanian. New, never used to fire. Inserted a few times into the AK to take pictures. Please check & do not buy if illegal in your state. BP-02 AK to Weaver Mount, Low Profile, Centered. New. 2 x Howard Leight Impact Sport Electronic Earmuffs. Used ones, work great but I prefer earplugs when shooting a shotgun. MAGPUL AFG-2 Angled Fore Grip. Attached once, like new. PayPal only. All items are sold as is - no returns. Shipping within USA only. Please ask if you have any questions.
  4. I just got email from mdarms saying with code "black friday" you get 35% off your order. Ordered a drum for $82 it is good till Dec 07
  5. Hi guys, I've noticed that Centerfire Systems is no longer doing the pre-orders for these. In addition, they removed the ETA date from the product page, as well as product pages for the SGM stick mags. I don't like this! I really hope that SMG is not canceling the production of these drums (or their Vepr 54R 20 rounders) in lieu of the importation ban.I would think that, considering that they must be late into the R&D process at this point and the number of Vepr-12s already in the country, that they would at least do a limited production run. However, I don't know what's involved in manufacturing and getting them out to the market. The stick mags seems to be sold out everywhere. Is this the result of the ban (many new owners needing mags )or have they been out-of-stock before the ban news? Thought?
  6. UPDATE 07/23/14: EVERYTHING IS SOLD Hi guys, I am looking to sell the following Saiga-12 drums. NOTE ABOUT SAIGA-12 DRUMS: These drums are designed for the Saiga-12 models without a mag well only and WILL NOT WORK in the mag well equipped Saiga-12s, Vepr-12s or Cantamount Furies. Due to the liberal manufacturing tolerances causing slight variations in mag catch sizes between different Saiga-12 weapons, both MD Arms and ProMag ship their drums with generously oversized locking lugs and fitting instructions which involve filing. They might lock into your gun as they are or they might require a bit of filing off the top of the locking lugs until able to lock in. In addition, these drums are designed for the standard sized 2 3/4" shot shells only and will not work with either 3" inch shell or certain cheap foreign made 2 3/4" shells, which are slightly longer than normal. Both MD Arms and ProMag offer very generous lifetime warranties for their drums. I CANNOT ship these drums to the following states: Alaska California Colorado District of Columbia Hawaii Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New York WTS: MD Arms Saiga-12 20 round Drum with Two Extra Covers (NEW, in original packaging) Pic: Brand new, unopened drum that I've had sitting around. The asking price is: $90 (shipped) MD Arms Saiga-12 20 round Drum (USED, in excellent condition. Drum only) This one is used, but not a whole lot. Works perfectly, but has a few unavoidable minor scuffs on the body. As per MD Arms' instructions, I had to file the locking lug until it locked in my gun. Chances are, it will fit perfectly in your specific weapon, but if your mag catch is larger than my S-12's, you might have to file the locking lug a bit more until the drum locks in. However, if your mag catch is smaller than mine, the drum will have a little bit of play when it's locked in, which isn't a big deal. Pics: The asking price for this one is: $70 (shipped) ProMag Saiga-12 12 round Drum (LIKE NEW, drum only) This surprisingly good quality and perfectly sized "mini drum" is in mint condition. I've tested the manual feeding, but never had a chance to take it out to the range. It locked in perfectly in my gun, not requiring any fitting (your results may vary). Pics: Asking price: $60 (shipped) SPECIAL PACKAGE DEALS: Both (2) MD20 Drums: $150 (shipped) All three drums (x2 MD20s & x1 12 rd ProMag): $205 (shipped) PAYMENT AND SHIPPING DETAILS: Payment via discreet PayPal. Drums will be shipped via USPS First Class. I pack my stuff well and ship the next business day or sooner. Post "I'll take it <item name>" as a reply here and PM me to buy something. Thanks for looking!
  7. SOLD Hi guys, I have a Promag 10 round Saiga-12 drum for sale. It's in like new condition. It's been taken out of its packaging, loaded and inserted into my shotgun just one time, but I never even took it out of the house. I threw away the packaging, so you get only the drum and the fitting instructions paper slip. It didn't need any fitting for my gun. It's covered by ProMag's life-time warranty. I will not ship this drum to the following places: Alaska California Colorado District of Columbia Hawaii Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New York Asking price: $55 $50 (shipped USPS). Payment through discreet PayPal. I pack my stuff well and ship within a business day. First person to post "I'll take it" and PM me, gets it. I will added some pictures later. Thanks. 8. Hi guys, I have always kind of wanted to get a 12 round "nutsack" drum for my S-12. Saw one on sale at Cabela's and picked it up. Long story short: after I've appropriated it and threw away the packaging and receipt, I discovered that it's actually a 10 round drum! I had not idea that they made these! Any way, I've now picked up a 12 rounder at an LGS and instantly noticed that it's EXACTLY the same size as the 10 rounder. WTF is the point of 10 rounders, anyhow?!? Legality in some states? So, the question is, since they are the same size, might it be possible to mod the 10 rounder to take the extra two rounds? Thanks!

    pro mag problem

I just got a 30 rd pro mag drum and it seems that the bolt is hitting the top of the shells as the bolt comes back which is causing a ftf. I have to manually chamber each round. any suggestions on how to fix this?

  14. i know that the magwell is one of the great attractions for the vepr 12. however, i already have an s12, and a bunch of mags, and wouldnt plan on using the vepr for competition, and wouldnt want to throw down another ton of money for magwell mags. i know the differences of opinion and the arguments for and against the magwell. my question is, can the magwell be removed from the vepr12? if so, would s12 rock-and-lock magazines function properly in it? just curious. then i could use my drums and magazines i already have, and if i ever so desired, replace the magwell and buy the magazines for it. thoughts? opinions?

    a crazy day!!!!

First I want to say hello to everyone and thanks for having me... so I finally got my hands on two md-20 drums and with me being a newbie and all , I was nervious about fitting them myself and reached out to a local gun shop for that service.so as soon as I walked in and told him what I wanted , the gunsmith while only looking at the drums says "I can not do that gun because it's illegal " so I try to explain to the older guy that its just a saiga 12 and it is legal to own... and he said that looks like a street sweeper to him and says he will not touch it.... also informs me he is suppose to call ATF ! Spooked me so bad just hearing that made me feel like I was driving home with a street sweeper and I was being followed by ATF all the way home. Has this happened to any of you before...

Almost done with the new Pelican 1720 case. Decided to just use it for the SBS and mags/accessories. Not completely done, but It's coming along. Still need to clean the chalk marks off of it. and cut a couple more slots in it for other muzzle attachments.
