Howdy yall Problem: Trying to improve cheek weld on Polish Underfolder with red dot. Samson riser doesnt fit... What next? Background: My beautiful Polish AK, utilizing a NoDak receiver and a Primary Arms red dot is amazing! I just would like a better cheek weld for it. I purchased the Samson riser, incredibly excited to use it, and it didn't fit. This weapon is easily my favorite rifle. Solution 1: Identify and purchase a second underfolder stock that will be more compatible with this riser. Determine if new underfolder will fit. Solution 2: Price out a direct replacement for my current stock so that if it were to be damaged beyond use during modification it can be replaced. Solution 3: Return it for a refund, suck it up, and deal. Close: Looking for input from those who have experience, thank you for your time.
So i polished my bolt and carrier. On the bolt stem is the only place actually polished on the bolt. I used one of those dremel attatchments, its a polishing wheel made of like cotton or something with polishing compound inside the fabric. I wasn't even thinking about it but I hope i didnt mess any thing up by polishing those contact points on the bolt. What do you guys think? ....whoops sorry about the title, got distracted i guess.
Please Help. I recently purchased my first Saiga 12. Though I am ne to the Saiga family i am not new to guns in general. After i recieved my gun I did a basic conversion consisting of butt stock, pistol grip, trigger group, pro mag 10 round clip, and muzzle break. I also added a MD Arms V-Plug because everythin I read on line said if there was one mod to do that was it. Never shot it with stock plug. So I took it out for the first time the other day and I cant get it to cycle low brass on any setting on the V-Plug. As you probably already know the V-Plug has 5 settings, 1(-) being for high velocity rounds, and 5(+) being for low brass. In fact it will only cycle the high velocity slugs and buckshot on setting 5 consistantly which is supposed to be for low brass value rounds. I havent touched it since. Could it be something I did wrong during the conversion of the trigger group etc. Please any input would be great that may help me fix my problem. Thanks alot. Shawn
