  1. I've run into this quandary a bunch of times lately. I go buy a few tools to do a job, and I use them once. Like ever. Now, here I am again. I want to cut my .308 Saiga barrel down from 22" to 20", reface it, put an 11 degree crown on it, then thread it in 5/8x24. I'm still on the fence about moving the FSB back and repining it. I'll likely never use the iron sights, so why bother. But I'm going to end up dropping like $250 on it, then using it once. After that, it'll sit in my roll away collecting dust. I wish this site had some sort of tool exchange where we could borrow each oth

Bring your ideas, suggestions and feedback and post to this centralized thread: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/81657-saiga-brand-rifleshotgun-case/#entry821032 Thanks, Happy Shooting!
  6. Hey guys just wondering what kind of accuracy everyone is working with out there. With my saiga/ak 7.62x39 I can usually shoot about a 2.5 to 3 inch group at 100 yards. On a good day I can do this standing but I use a sling to stabalize. What about you? P.S. Ive got some cool pictures I would like to post but I'm not sure how now days..maybe its my browser but I used to be able to hit the "browse" button, add the file, then click the "Attatch Files" button...the attatch files button is not clickable..anyone know?
  7. Hey guys check out my Ak in action. ...and no thats not full auto i can pull the trigger pretty fast though.
  8. Hey guys why cant i post pics. it lets me browse, then add the pic but i cant "attach file". used to be able to click the button but now i am unable to.
  9. Hey guys so after hearing some rediculus info from someone i know i gotta ask about it. He was saying it would be a good idea to get a spare set of rivets if you own a saiga. How likely is it for one of the rivets to come loose or egg the reciever on a saiga 7.62x39? I dont think they would ever come loose, rivets are freakin tough from what i understand. Sorry for polluting the forum with this crap but i had to ask. Thanks for any input.
  10. Looking into getting another Saiga rifle in 7.62x39. Where is the cheapest place to get them on the Internet these days?
  11. Hye guys Im thinking about venting my gas tube on my saiga 7.62x39. i am wondering if i use a cutting wheel and vent 3 slots on each external rib of the tube will this weaken the tube. I think it is strong enough and it wont effect it much other than maybe run cooler and cleaner. What do you guys think?
  12. RWC Group is now the exclusive exporter for saigas. dont fret my friends, our beloved rifles will remain available for the time being. find a local gun shop that recieves from RWC Group. I am in no way affiliated with RWC Group LLC.
  13. Hey Saiga clan, (Hope I didn't overlook or missed the discussion on topic). I am looking for my "dream rifle case" and thought: why there are no Saiga-branded cases around? I understand that "Saiga" name could be trademarked and owned by Izhmash (I don't know for a fact, but I guess it is). How about Forum's own "Saiga-12" or "Saiga-12.com"? MAKC, Mods: any suggestions? With all talents and resources we have here, there should be a way for someone to come out with worthy designs, specific to Saiga rifles (my primary interest, since I'm in AK clones; specifically in folders) a

  15. Im in the market for a "fighting" rifle although ill hopefully only use it for plinkin and hunting. Im on a budget so I cant get a M1A. A few people said I could buy an AR kit but I'd like something more potent than 223 since I will use it for hunting anyway. I know saigas arent meant to be tack drivers but I was wondering if yall could help me get the right saiga configuration for me. I'd like primarily wood and metal or the stock can be synthetic but most of the parts have to be metal. I know plastic is fine but I like heavier guns for some reason if they are too light they feel like toy
  16. Looking for an unconverted 7.62x39 Saiga. MUST HAVE DIMPLES! New or used, doesn't matter.
  17. Because we all know zombies are a cakewalk. An Armalite AR-180B was my first black rifle. I decided to pick up a used one after I sold mine several years ago. I also decided to paint the furniture and integral pistol grip because I have a thing for green, black rifles. The cheekpad and creeper face are textured, self-adhesive neoprene rubber. The scope mount is by Stormwerkz and the red dot is a Primary Arms with a removable base.
