  1. Fellow members and visitors… Do to some extreme health issues, I’m getting out of my SAIGA .308 hobby. This is a package deal for the whole thing… I don’t really want to attempt to part-out the various items… REDUCED WTS - $1,000.00 + shipping This weapon is the 4th .308 Saiga conversion I’ve done. It was completed about Five (5) years ago. I ran ~20 rounds through the weapon to verify function and safety, and then put it away… my go-to-weapon in case of zombie uprising… The basic weapon is a Saiga .308, 16”. It has a T-6 stock installed. I had Cobra install his “T6-buffer” in the stock to reduce recoil.. It has a G2 trigger group from Dinzag along with a pistol hand grip and forward hand guard brace. All in all a nice, basic modification. I also did the modification to the stock magazine to convert it from 8 rounds to a nine-ten (9-10) round capability. Photo is of weapon as it sets today. See below for additional modifications done/started… I am also including three (3) Surefire magazines (two have been used in previous weapons, one is new), and three (3) Pro-Mag magazines that have been loaded but never used. NOW… I decided about three and ½ years ago to do some additional modifications to the weapon, as the photo shows. I decided to change the rails, sights, etc. on the weapon. I wanted to give it a longer and more accurate sight picture using the open sights, sorta the SIG or POF look.. I removed the front and rear sights (they are included), in plastic zip-lock bags. I removed the cover and installed one with the full top rail. It mounts into the rear sight area and screws into the top of the rear stock mount. It seems to be very solid. I installed a flip up rear sight on this rail. I then modified a quad-rail made for the AK 7.65 x 39. It fits the weapon very tight and also provides the mount point for the flip up front sight. This modified unit HAS NOT been coated where I did the modifications. I would suggest some “final fitting” and then a good coat of color for the unit. I purchased the DIE and a Muzzle Break from Brian to thread the barrel and add the muzzle break. This is when I had my major health issues… The threading is NOT completed at this point. The DIE and Muzzle Break are included in zip-lock bags There are other spare and misc. parts included… BARSKA 1-3x30 IR (Multi Rail) scope, Dinzag modified fire/safety lever with the BHO (Bolt Hold Open) modification… Dinzag modified regular BHO lever with the spring, never installed.. Stock BHO with spring. Extra Hammer Spring… Factory sling (never installed)… Receiver cover with rings and Weaver Rail on top… Factory oil can, brushes, etc. Factory rear stock… There is an over-size hard case included with this weapon also. I expect the shipping to be about $50-$70 total, ground UPS… I can only ship the weapon to a FFL dealer and will need a signed copy of their license. BE SURE they will accept shipment from an individual (non FFL). I can ship the weapon (with minimal parts) to the FFL and the balance of the parts (bulk) directly to the purchaser. Insurance will be added (at buyers cost) if you want it. Thanks for looking…

Primary Arms 1-6X Scope with ACSS reticle on PA's Deluxe Mount: works great on SIG556xi.
  5. From the album: Variety

"Advanced Combined Sighting System" combining Bullet Drop Compensation, Range Estimation, Wind and Leads in one easy to use system. What a great scope; it's a STEAL at its listed price. Clear optics, sharp reticle, huge range of illumination, and built-in rangefinder. 1-6x zoom without annoying "fish eye" and true (at least, it looks like "true") 1x. Excellent fit and finish. Melonite-like finish, smooth, rounded lines, excellent zoom mechanics, great feel/feedback from illumination and W/E knobs. Matched it to PA's Deluxe Mount: works great on SIG556xi. Happy Shooting! P.S. Ordered within 60 seconds of receiving the "back in stock" e-mail notification. Looks like sold out in or about 24 Hrs again? Lucky me!
  6. UPDATE2: SOLD UPDATE: SPF I am selling this lightly used scope mount for the Vepr Super models equipped for such mounts. This mount will NOT work with the AK side-rail equipped Verp Supers, which don't have the little top mount rails on both sides of the receiver, next to the rear trunnion. I had to sell my Vepr Super and this was my second, “backup” mount. It does have a few scuffs and scratches on it - typical Russian enamel finish, but is in perfect working order. I’ve never bent the locking lever on this one. It does come with the original Molot 1” scope rings, but honestly, they are trash. They are not tight enough for 1” tubes and need to be shimmed, but also definitely aren’t 30 mm rings. ASKING PRICE: $130 (shipped via USPS First Class with insurance and delivery confirmation to the 48 Continental States) Payment: verified PayPal only, please. The mount will be shipped the next business day after payment is received (and cleared), using USPS with insurance and delivery confirm. I will provided you the tracking info ASAP. I ship fast and overdo it with the packaging. I am PayPal verified and have great eBay feedback. You can check it here: http://myworld.ebay.com/prizrakat First person who posts "I'll take it" and PMs me, gets it.* *I do reserve the right not to sell to people with not forum history or bad rep. Ad also posted of the Vepr Forum. Thanks for looking and please, don't hesitate to post or PM any questions! PICTURES:
  7. UPDATE4: SOLD UPDATE3: SPF UPDATE: Added a pic of the reticle and a daylight pic of the tube scuff/scratch. UPDATE2: Ad also posted on the Vepr Forum. Would like sell this lightly used, high end Belorussian POSP scope, which I bought from Kalinka. It's not in stock right now, but they had it listed as: "POSP 4-10x42 D VariPOSP Zoom Rifle Scope w/ Adjustable Illuminated 1000 m Dragunov Reticle and Independent Focus, Weaver Version" Here's the official product description: The POSP 4-10x42 D wit is a high quality sniper rifle scope with a magnesium alloy body and fully multi-coated optics. A great assault weapon scope with a 1000 m Dragunov marked metering grid, this illuminated reticule grid scope allows you to determine kill distance as well as to track and observe game in the field. This sight's defining feature is an independent focusing eyepiece which operates similar to a pair of binoculars. The diopiter adjustment allows you to focus clearly when firing at close range, to adjust for your specific eyesight and simply to give you the clearest picture possible. Illumination is provided by a LED bulb. The special design of the scope allows for both lateral and angular adjustments quickly and easily so you always stay zeroed in. It features professionally ground, crystal clear optics, nitrogen filling to prevent lens fogging, and larger diameter tubes for improved light gathering under the most severe conditions. Probably the best scope, dollar for dollar, in the world. It is waterproof and can be used in any climate condition. It comes with a high quality mil-spec black finish, and comes with everything shown in the picture; rubber lens cap, eye piece, screw driver and nylon carrying case. If you want the look and performance of a true POSP and place a premium on shooting comfort, this is your best choice. The Weaver POSP is perfect for use on the .308 versions which require longer range reticles to make full use of their capabilities. The POSP series uses standard, readily available watch batteries. Additional Information SKU GSPOSP41042WD Manufacturer Kalinka Optics Magnification 4-10x Objective Aperture 42 mm Field of View 6o.10'-2o.20' Field of View at 1000 m 105-38 m Eye Relief 80-73 mm Eye Relief Diameter 10.5-4.2 mm Adjustments, MOA 1 Independent Focus +3/-3 Reticle 1000m Dragunov Illuminated 5 Setting Variable Rangefinding Capability Yes Nitrogen Purged Yes Waterproof Yes Mount Type Weaver Color Black Temperature +50 to -50oC Power Source 3V (CR2032) Battery Life 50 hours Overall Dimensions 350Ñ…80Ñ…70 Item Weight 1.5 pounds I paid $400 + shipping for it. Kalinka's Canadian sister company has this thing in stock, for $485. This is the high end of the POSP line of scopes. The scope comes with an unused original rubber eye piece, nylon camo case (with internal pockets), Russian instruction manual, batteries and a couple of unused cleaning kits. The scope has barely been used and is in great working condition. It's rugged, clear and cool looking. The only thing that's wrong with it, is a cosmetic scuff/scratch on the right side of the tube, near the objective. Please, see the last picture! It's not deep and in the picture, it looks worse that it actually is. It's something that can easily be covered up with touch-up pen or even a marker. ASKING PRICE: $350 (shipped via USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation to 48 Continental US states) Payment: verified PayPal only, please. The scope will be shipped the next business day after payment is received (and cleared), using USPS with insurance and delivery confirm. I will provided you the tracking info. I ship fast and overdo it with the packaging. I am PayPal verified and have great eBay feedback. 16. Anyone know of a good Rail extension that doesnt rise too much? I am looking to mount a scope on my SKS but want it a little closer to the eye. Coming from the handguard rail on the Tapco furniture, so it has to have some length in it. Don't want to go the Choate route yet and DEFINITELY dont want a dust cover mount. Anyone know of anything that fits the bill? Thanks in advance. Picture posted for reference.
  17. Hi all, Does anyone have Nikon M-223 1-4x20 Point Blank scope? Grafs com and Primary Arms are selling it for $229. I'd like to put it on a low-mount for lower 1/3 co-witness with iron sights on my converted .223 Saiga. Any shared information on mount (it has 1" tube OD)? I'd like to have it mounted to the side rail. Happy shooting!

    Seized focus ring?

Okay, I'm lost on this problem. Advice seriously needed. My 3-9x42 scope seems to have had the relief and magnification rings seize up. Has been stored in my safe since about March, when it was working correctly. Turning the rings has always been a bit stiff, but this is entirely new to me. It's been a good scope and would rather not have to replace it right now. Suggestions? Advice? (help?)

    WTB: PK-AS

I'm trying to find a PK-AS-S (the one that sits straight up on the left side) red dot/black dot sight for my Saiga. I've seen a few on sketchy looking websites for way too much money. If anyone here has one or knows where I can get a good deal, I would be grateful. Thanks.
