G O B 3,516
Saw a story that Nam Vets are dying from cancer caused by untreated liver flukes. VA is OF COURSE denying benefits to many. If any of you can post links, please share. (I am NOT a 'Nam vet' myself, as I served as an engine man on a sub, but we ARE all Brothers. We all went thru the same hell when we came home.)
Rhodes1968 1,638
If the VA says the sun is shining ... wear a rain coat, take an umbrella, be ready with a boat.

G O B 3,516
Liver flukes are COMMON is SE Asia. They are tolerated for years, but cause CANCER after several decades. If the anyone from the military had done even minimal testing they would have found this to be a COMMON danger to everyone who was exposed to the river water or under cooked fish. A course of antibiotics would have cured them. Instead the Military just shipped people home WITHOUT any "due diligence" to see if they were infected with any of the diseases COMMON to the area. Now Vets are dying of cancer because of this GROSS NEGLIGENCE!
