80% ??

Recommended Posts

I know this topic was brought up a year and a half ago...does anyone make an 80% "lower receiver" for the Saiga 12?  I know it is not called a receiver...but something similar.

Best case for that sort of thing would be a  flat plate cut to shape with various holes cut/drilled, which you would then fold for your base receiver, then add trunnions, rails, and other items to finish your receiver. I remember seeing those plates at various gun shows back in the day...

Easy enough to bend one up yourself with basic hand tools. You can get the sheet metal @ McMacter-Carr

The front trunnion is the serial numbered part. This negates any value in replacing the sheet metal housing normally called the 'receiver' on AK's.
