TonyRumore 1,332
Here's a pic of the first 8" Tromix S-12 rolling out the door with the new Lage/Tromix stock on it. The gun is an early Kalashnikov USA import. http://www.hunt101.com/showphoto.php?photo=404755
osprey21 5
Nice! How does it shoulder as compared to the ACE stock?
TonyRumore 1,332
I think it's more comfortable due to the fact that there is more drop in the heel which puts more surface area on your shoulder.
Jaffa Killer 0
That right there is probably my favorite Saiga so far. It just looks right, almost streamlined. Thats HOT!!!!!!
6500rpm 670
I'm with Jeffa on that one, that's about the hottest set up you've done yet in my mind. Are you marketing the stocks yet? Your friggen killing me with that thing, I'm trying to use a little self control as I add new things to my tool box, but the appeal of a SBS is starting to wear me down-go make some ugly shit so I can regain some rational thinking. I cant help it, what's a ball park price on something like that on an S12 that's already had the FCG moved, less the $200 tax stamp? TonyRumore 1,332
I have plenty of stocks sitting on the shelf right now. $85ea It would run $630 on your gun, as shown.
osprey21 5
Tony... This would be a direct replacement for the ACE stock that you supplied with my gun(mounted via the two cap screws), correct?
TonyRumore 1,332
Yes.
Trumpet 0
What is the Tromix stock made from, and what is the ACE made from? Thanks Rich
TonyRumore 1,332
The ACE is aluminum. The Lage is high density polymer. They both weigh the same.
Cobra 76 two 2,677
Are there any mods (ie welding) required to install one of those stocks or do they just bolt right up to any AK receiver?
kresk 10,063
Are there any mods (ie welding) required to install one of those stocks or do they just bolt right up to any AK receiver? The Lage stock screws onto the Ace folder hinge, directly interchangable except the two screws are 5/8 inch, slightly different than the Ace stock. I can attest it is very sturdy.
