baz 0
I've got a .223 Tromix conversion on its way from PvtPyle. I'm sure it will not be long before I'm looking at alternative sights or optics. A complicating factor is that while I shoot right handed, I'm left eye dominant. What I'm looking for is something that will mount a red dot or panoramic sight (1x so I don't have parallax issues) high, and maybe even offset to the left a bit. Or, maybe forward on rails? I've tricked out a couple of long guns this way, so I can sight through scopes with my left eye, while shooting right handed. If the scope is forward enough, or high enough, I can usually work it out. I'm okay with red dot or panaromic sights at 1x for this weapon. We're not talking sniper here. If I can shoot "minute of BG" at 50-100 meters, I'm happy. The question is how to mount the sights either far enough forward, high enough, or offset to the left, so I can see through them with my left eye. Any ideas? TIA. avatar 4
Check out the PK AS. It may work very well for you shooting right handed and left eye dominant. http://www.freedomoptics.com/Comersus/stor...p?idProduct=
