I have some spare parts and I'm thinking about getting a .223 Saiga for a conversion down the road but I have a few questions. I know theese questions get asked alot, but I never see the mag question answered it's always someone saying yeah but or no but. To me it's a yes or no answer.

1. If you have the bullet guide that K-Var sells installed do the mags still have to be modified? I know Bulgy waffles can be tight at first but I mean mod the mag to get it to feed even with a bullet guide. I have a Arsenal SA-M5S that I could share unmodified mags with.

2. Someone told me the Saiga rifles don't have the optic rail is this true? My Saiga 12 has one and I seen some Saiga .223 rifles with rails in a thread below.

Thanks,

Joe
