BLeeHandy 0
Hello I noticed the Saiga 7.62x39 barrell length is 16". I thought legal barrell length was 18". (For State of Michigan.) Does anyone know for sure. Or is there a Flash Supressor or Muzzel brake on the market to add a few inches to the Saiga 7.62x39??
deecee 0
I don't think the barrell is 16" long. Where are they measuring it from?
Ross Man 0
I believe it is 18" for a shotgun and 16" for a rifle. Paratrooper SKS rifles only have 16" barrels as well as several AR rifles.
Bvamp 604
Ive done some checking for my own purposes, seems I was a little confused here. Rifles are 16" including chamber, shotguns are 18" plus the chamber. You DO NOT want to cut to 18"... cut to 18.5" or 19". Now all I need to find out is if removeable chokes are considered part of the barrel length on shotguns. I was always told they werent, but apparantly some of my info was the "better safe than sorry" kind.
