SinistralRifleman 0 Posted August 1, 2006 Report Share Posted August 1, 2006 I should make it my purpose to video tape all the malfunctions I see regularly at competitions around the country of supposed wonder rifles...AKs, Fals, G3s, etc. Everything mechanical can fail, and I see it happen regularly. TonyRumore 1,332 Posted August 4, 2006 Report Share Posted August 4, 2006 I've seen a few mag latches bend as well. Some guns also have the receiver bent upward right at the front of the magwell. That makes the mag tighten up when it's cammed into place. There are also guns where the finish peels off in big strips. It's usually only on the barrel but sometimes back on the receiver a bit too.
