New 20 rd mag pouch recommendation?

Thanks to you guys here on this board with your excellents posts, I've purchased a new 16" .308 and 6 20rd clips from FBMG last week.

 

I have a quick question... what would be a good recommendation for mag pouches for these new mags?

I'm pretty sure any pouch made for similar-size mags (G3, FAL, M14) should work. Won't know for certain til my mags get here.

I would bet that the molded mag pouches for FAL's wont' work - but any "bag" type of mag pouch - like canvas or nylon cordura type material that is made for FAL, G-3, etc. should work great.

the followers on the saiga 308 mags are alot bigger(longer) then on other 308 mags. i bet the saiga mags are longer then other 308 mags because of this, and might not fit in some pouches because of this.

Yep, our mags are a little bit longer than a G3 or FAL mag because of the length of the follower. So if you are using a really snug pouch length wise it might not fit. We tested ours in the Molle compatible US .308 pouches, and they fit great.

I was thinking about s quad-pouch for the old Greman MG-13 mags. They were 25-rounders, so they should be plenty long.

Don't know if they are wide enough.

 

let me put it this way: I cannot WAIT to test out the fit!
