Where to get a US made replacement gas piston?

Recommended Posts

OK, with all the hooplah surrounding the 922 issue, I am inclined to get my rifle 922 safe. Anyone have a good source for a US made gas piston for a .223? Will I have to pay 25% of the cost of the rifle for something so simple?

I haven't been in touch with him since last year when I got my 7.62 piston and from the looks of this post I don't know if he's still doin em or not but it's worth sending him an email to see. He does great work.

Looks like he's into Yugo grenade launchers these days...

I didn't use the US made gas piston and replaced five other parts; trigger, disconnector, hammer, pistol grip and made my own butt stock from Baltic birch plywood. I also used Falcon Arms magazine floor plates and Tapco followers. I'm not sure if followers and floor plates are available for .223s.
