Hey macbeau , send it here, nothing like possum in a half shell. for some good eating.

vjor,

Where I was raised we called that critter an armor plated cat.

That is the first time I hear that name for the possum on a half shell.

Here's a pict of me from this past fall. I do a lot of design for Smirnoff Vodka and they were a partner in the latest 007 Casino Royale Film. So we all did up ourselves as Bond villains to go along with a lot of the Promo materials that I designed. My wife says I have issues... She just doesn't understand me ;)post-4694-1169671733_thumb.jpg

JL, sorry to hear about your sister. My condolences.

You are right about life being short. There were times that I all I could look forward to in the next few minutes was a good death.

These days, every day sucking oxygen is a good day.

This is me as a Staff Sergeant, practicing to be a Gunny.

Hanging out at the base of those crossed swords in Baghdad.

It was my only trip there so we had to do the combat tourist thing.

Everyday is a gift no matter how bad it is. I am sure you are thankful for everyday. Thanks for the kind words. Those are great pics. Hopefully you are back home now.

My condolences go out to you JLpreban for the loss of your sister too (Lord knows we need more brave women in our ranks willing to try new things as compared to the ones who seem to be happy adopting the sheeple mentality that firearms are bad things to be avoided at all costs).

And a big thanks go out to the troops such as you GunnyR who face(d) danger everyday so we can be safe over here and assholes like Jane Fonda and her ilk can feel free to spout their un-patriotic, un-American diarrhea against the fighting serviceman/woman. :super:

Noticed a new thread about the women on this site, but since my better looking half doesn't want to register I didn't post there.

She does however sit with me & read this site when I'm at home & check-in to see what's going on. So you can add another one to the list of women who hang-out here, even it's just to read the posts.

Anyway here's my lurking better half.

Is there anything in that photo that doesn't scream DANGER!

Does she have the Irish temper to go with it?

God Bless our better half's!
