bushman 0
Will 2/34 in ammo feed in a mag that's suppose to be for the 3 in. shells? JEFF
emclean 0
not reliably, the frount of the shell will cetch and not load, you will be better off geting some 2 3/4 mags.
bushman 0
Ok, thanks. JEFF
45leadslinger 0
Tapco ahs a good package deal for new mags that work with both. they are labeled with a "K" instead of an "H" on the upper mag. Also heavier loads (2 3/4) or loads that have smaller metal work more reliably. the Federal field and target loads don't work well.
bushman 0
I've never seen Saiga mags on the Tapco website. JEFF

JesusCow 1
how are the "5" magazines different than the ones marked "4"??
45leadslinger 0
I don't know. the ones i got from them were 5 round multiuse mags. They have a "K" one the upper left corner of the mag. The single use have an "H".

TWGLADF 0
hey everybody! read this thread and had to post. one of my 3 inch mags that came with my saiga 20 has a K on the side and it does not feed 2 3/4 inch shells. the other 3 inch mag has an H on the side and it too does not feed 2 3/4 inch rounds. can anybody fill me in? i dont want to order a bunch of the "universal" mags with a K on them and they don't feed 2 3/4 shells. also, i located some 3 round mags for hunting purposes, but they are for my 12 gauge. i need them for my 20 gauge, but cant find them. does anybody know if it is legal to plug the mags up to 3 rounds? i have fabricated a plug that works perfectly, but don't really know if it would be considered legal to hunt with. ya'll let me know what ya'll think! by the way, thanks for this great forum! tim
emclean 0
i would assume that it would be legal, it is the same why you limit a tubuler mag, but you could write your DNR (or whoever regulates hunting in your state) and aks them. if they say yes, carry a copy of the letter with you whrn you hunt, that way a game worden cant hassle you about it.
