paprotective 362
Thanks Bullshark. I may go either 12 or 13 with 1 inch pad. Can I pop on the RAA cheekpiece to this or does Ace have one?
BullShark012 1
Thanks Bullshark. I may go either 12 or 13 with 1 inch pad. Can I pop on the RAA cheekpiece to this or does Ace have one? If I were You, I'd go Long, 14" w/ 1/2" pad. Just what I'd do If I could re-order. 12 -13 is kinda short, but if that's what u like (mine is 13, w/ 1" pad and Almost too short for me - your teeth and lips are sitting right on or behind the Folding mechanism (Heavy Metal) as you Fire, for .308 I wouldn't want to try it. x39 & .223 ok. I really don't need a cheekpiece..just stuff in the way for me, but it could help?? Sorry, I don't know if ACE has one or not. klashki 0
Is that an origional vepr FSB/GB, or was it modified? That thing is schhhweet!Vepr545 Thanks 1 liter! No, It's not a VEPR Rifle, I wish it was... It's a Krebs Custom KTR-03 with an Armory Usa Receiver and it's their own FSB/GB on the rifle, the whole rifle has been customized, the only thing I added was the Magpul CTR Stock, Red Dot, and Vertical Grip. tab1324 0
Here's mine, just finished yesterday. My 922 list consists of the Tapco stock, Saw grip, Tapco G2 single hook trigger group and several Master Molder magazines. The conversion was much easier and much more fun than I thought it would be... I added the Ultimak mount last night with the standard Saiga fore end. The notching isn't perfect but it's a pretty nice fit. I ended up taking about 1/2" off the top of the fore end. I need to do some final clean-up like finishing the safety lever BHO, touch up the fore end and I want to add a single point sling mount. I had an older Simons red dot scope around so that's what's on it for now. I like the quick pull up shots this forward scope mount will provide. Tom B.

Superhawk138 202
The pic of mine above was about in the same boat. My lower handguard I used the saiga tapco galil retainer. works pretty good just a little big and my upper was just "on" there for the pic untill I got a Romy gas tube with retainers. I am not flaming you , I am just looking out for you. Congrats and welcome to the saigaddicition! Moderators: What do you all think about this? Am I being too paranoid or is it valid? paprotective 362
That would bring your stock Saiga to 11 parts. You need 10 or less to be compliant. Add a US made stock, trigger group, or forearm and your good to go.
oldandslow 3
My Braked Saiga. This was actually a lot of fun. Painted with Brownells bake on Moly Teflon. AK74 style muzzle brake. Cut back front sight. 14mm x 1 LH threaded barrel. Lower hand guard retainer from Brownells. Stock set from Brownells. Removed and replaced the front sight and gas block to put on the lower hand guard.
