Sweetums 5
Finally took the new toy to the range on Saturday... I must say, I'm very happy with the 50 yd grouping. Used Wolf 122gr HP with a Sightmark reflex sight. Now to decide what my next Saiga should be...

I really like your pistol grip is it the Mission grip? It's the Hogue grip from Carolina Shooters Supply. I upgraded to the hogue when I bought my conversion kit from them, it was like $7.00 w/ the conv. kit.

Stoned_Oli 4
I just bought my Saiga, and the parts won't be in until this weekend. In the meantime, here is my MAK 90. From this: To this: I refinished the butt stock, and the handguards are from the Ironwood Designs woodpile. I am going to stay black poly with the Saiga for now, so I can keep the factory handguard. If I ever change the HG, I might go wood with it as well. Edited January 17, 2012 by Stoned_Oli

SilverOrange 1
Just wanted to say a big thank you for all of the advice and knowledge I got to help me do something that I didn't know if I could pull off or not. This one is done except for a muzzle brake, once I decide which one I want. Next comes one with wood furniture! "I'm a Saiga owner, and I have a problem."
Lambo91 2
Got the brake reamed out, took it to the range, and found that it cycles much smoother with the stock gas tube. The look is kinda growing on me.

Agent Lemon 157
A picture from before the conversion. Does this count as gun abuse? Abuse in the same way that its abuse to breed dogs into tiny lap dogs who cant breathe right, and then dressing them up in "cute" little outfits to take them on walks with? P.S. I didnt mean to do it... dont hate me
