It was meant to be humorous because it's been SO long since anyone has gotten anything back from Pauly.... that we know of. Guess it wasn't. Oh well. bad_smile.gif

In its final form:

My daughter does modeling and she did a shoot this week with firearms. I let her borrow my Saiga.

Where did you get this charging handle? Really like that one, seems more reliable than the one i found:

Done with this headache, on to the nest pain in my ass

Oh, haven't run low brass yet, maybe I'm not done with this headache

Handle was welded on by Pauly back in his reliable days. I do not recommend him for work now.

It still doesn't run birdshot 100%, but close. I'd like to just sell it and move on to another project.

My rock n lock and 030

how do you mod a 030 to take regular Saiga mags?

You mod the mags to fit the gun.

how do you do that? because that would be a really great thing to learn how to do

I believe you remove the front lug, and perhaps do a bit of filing on the back lug. Somewhere on here there is a thread about adding a magwell to the S12 and modding the mags to fit it. Mags are always fitted to the gun, not the other way around.

Simply sand down the front lug flush to the body of the mag. So far I've only done it to my promag 10 rounder, but it works just fine. Of course, don't expect the LRBHO to work.
