I dont know if this is because its my second restoration or what, but the S12 seemed easier to do then the 7.62x39 did.

Finished my conversion (I may yet do something with the rear sight though)

Many thanks to Moe Zambeak and

without which I would have FUBAR-ed it royally.

Here is my most recent Saiga acquisition. I currently live in NJ, a non-conversion state, but I'm a bit old school when it comes to shotguns anyway and the standard stock is very comfortable to me. We do the majority of our shooting at a private range in PA, so I do know the benefits of the converted beast. We're looking to move to PA full-time next spring and my first purchase at the moment of closing will be a Tromix 8" SBS.

This Saiga-12 has a Leapers UTG Quad Rail, Russian Military PK-A Red Dot scope from Kalinka Optics, Leapers UTG Tactical light with VLtor Scout mount, Eagle Industries Stock Pack (a must for batteries, bulbs, etc...), a OneSourceTactical 1 1/2" sling with cable connectors (silent and versatile) and a Mississippi Auto Arms Barrel Shroud (not just for looks, I shoot predominantly slugs from this shotgun and it's popular at the range. The barrel does get hot).

Here's my Tromix S02. I bought it three years ago and just yesterday finished tweaking it to my tastes.

Here's how it looked before I really started messing with it.

And here's how it looks after I finished tweaking it.

The upgrades include:

1. Leapers UTG Quad Rail (Great if you already have HK sights and don't want to remove them)

2. EOTECH 552 Sight

3. Limbsaver Stock

4. Gasfixer Gas Plug

5. Tromix Bayonet Lug (Now out of production)

6. Vertical Grip (Converts AR-15 pistol grip into a forward grip, I switched it out with an AR-15 Tapco OD Green SAW Grip)

7. ERGO Sling Swivel and Spec Ops Sling

8. ERGO Rail Covers

9. Winchester Invector Choke (this Tromix originally came with a permanently installed Shark Brake, but I wanted a removable choke tube so I had a gun smith cut off the shark brake and install one)
