mailtonate 2
Man it's good to finally get my S12 conversion done. I'm in love with it. I'm sure the deer will love it this fall too :-) I'm still waiting for my Chaos rail, so I modified the stock hand guard to accept a Magpul MVG grip for the time being. I sort of like this configuration, it's pretty lightweight and the grip is very sturdy.

TwentyNizzo 66
Latest rendition...what I thought was my final. Arrg, never ends I suppose? The gun is completely tuned and runs all types of ammunition with 100% reliability....I'm talking Federal blue box 1 oz birdshot at walmart for $4.67/25 box. Next round of mods: AK 100 series polyfolder and barrel chop to 11". Getting it to run birdshot after that should be interesting UPDATE:
Reignick 2
Here's my beloved beastie after a redux using Cameron's Titan rail , Chaos H&K style sights and a primary arms Mk3 red dot . She was great before but now with dialable sights and a red dot to co-witness ( til I can free up an M68 C.C.O. and a A.R.M.S. low mount. ) it's become a absurdly effective slug thrower, not as heavy as expected either! I REALLY owe Cameron at Chaos a HUGE thanks as this rail system is everything that was promised and then some! If you're looking for a great full length rail system that will hold it's zero this is the best option you could ever ask for , bar-none. As an addendum , the weight of the rail is 23 ounces ,not a lot of weight for a hole lot of usability utility and just plain bad-@$$ factor , if you ask me. Mayor Al 41
We are headed to Texas in June for our first Hog Hunt. I will take these two guns with me and see which is more effective in actual use. 1. Winchester Model 100 Autoloader in 308 caliber 3-12x 50mm scope and 2. Saiga 12 gauge autoloader..5 round factory mag being my preference for the Saiga. 1.5-6x 40mm scope w/rangefinder Edited May 11, 2011 by Mayor Al

mrmallek 53
Started life as a MAA converted vodka special. A little TLC (GB - enlarged / ports - opened and added) and she began to win me over. Pauly's Ice-Racked Glass Bolt with rearswept dog leg Tromix vertical CH - lightened by Pauly. Cut down SGM forend. Custom gas plug - original modded by me for a third setting. Tromix stock with original ACE folder - added a set screw to tighten it in the open position. CSS Cheek pad for Tromix stock - would love an original Tromix with Cheek riser if anyone's got one lying around - pm me. Cobra's Custom Winchoke adapter with Briley's Browning Invector - Modified - love it JTE Magwell and extended mag release. Modded BHO SGM Mags ACE Sling mount / beverage opener. Basic SAW grip - just love these things -and the compartment To do: Sights - sights - sights - was thinking Krebs but now really like what Greg has or go with a Docter Optic and get Jack's mount. Ram mag release - I shoot with a lefty sometimes Find a good sling Krebs style safety Thinking about a SRT Trigger job from Tony - it's so smooth since Pauly polished it that I can wait a bit. Thanks to Everyone on this Forum for helping me make her what she is today. Edited May 23, 2011 by mark mallek

nycGUNguy 61
Finally found a wooden thumbhole stock at a recent show that was relatively decent so I bought it for $15... A little sanding and some nice stain to match my S-12 BRG3 forearm. S-20 also got a new stock that I refinished but with plastic paint with a few layers of clear coat. DOMIDARKO 5
Been on here for a long time but haven't really posted. I keep sayin "when its finished" but that will never happen. Any how it has Romanian furniture from buymillsurp.com, cheap but in dinged up condition. I really like wood on AKs so I got 2 forends with the pistol grips to experiment with. This was the first try and I knicked it up pretty good, while grinding it out to fit. Got the Ak retaining bracket from Dinzag, and got it on real solid. I have a Molot grip from MD arms on it now and the V-plug as well. CSS trigger guard. Thinking of putting the Gas Tube cover from CSS on, and looking for the right muzzle device to put on it, and on and on . . .
