I called FBMG this morning during their working hours, but got a recorded message. I believe that FBMG has conceded that they have lost orders, have not shipped mags in the order in which payment was received, and in fact do not know when some orders were received. And I noticed that in November no mags were shipped for about two weeks. On Saturday I am going out of town for two weeks, so maybe the mags will be here when I get back. Yes, I know that FBMG is willing to refund payments to those who do not want to wait any longer, but to get your money back after six months of waiting may not be very satisfying to those who took FBMG at their word and complied with their procedures to get this product. I have your order sitting here packed up Howard, but between this project and the busiest Holiday season we have seen around these parts in years, we are a bit behind on shipping. We still plan to have them all out by Christmas (thats ALL orders as of today). We miss a few phone calls because we are on the other line or we are jammed up, but we have two here during the day and 4 at night and we are still hammered. How many times have I or PvtPyle told you that we would have every single preorder shipped before Christmas? Sounds like a response to me. I think your title of this thread is a little misleading and denigrating to my company since I responded to you no less than 3 times in that last thread that all preorders would be out before Christmas, even if we did manage to get some of them out of order. Once again, all preorders will be out by Christmas. If anyone who preordered does not have their magazine by that time, then we will investigate on an individual basis for potential shipping problems. (that is why we paid for delivery confirmation) When you have 400 people waiting to get something, it becomes a fulltime job to do nothing but respond to people asking when their stuff is getting shipped. It is the busiest time of the year for a retail gunstore, and frankly that is why I give a blanket statement that all shipments will be out by a certain time, and then deal with any individual problems after that, than try to address hundreds of people individually when their product will be shipped en-mass in a couple of days. It's very much appreciated. +1 ...and again - my appologies if my whining / venting / concerns gave the wrong impressions. I just don't think that those of us who ordered first, thought we'd be getting our mags last. When the first batch went out in mid to late November, with no notification of shipment or a tracking number, I was taking off from work each day to ensure my mags wouldn't get stolen off of my porch, if they were delivered (a 20 mile trek each way). I did this for about a week before it became evident that I wasn't going to get anything in that batch. That's when I started to get concerned that my order had been lost or misplaced and I might have to wait for a second production run. I suppose there is nothing left to do but wait 'til Christmas. I was seeking information on my individual order, not on the general progress of filling all of the orders. (Of course I was quite aware of the general statements made on this site.) I also haven't received my mags. I ordered on the morning the first day possible and my name is on the above posted list. Obviously, some of the very early orders were misplaced in the shipping order. I am assuming based on the recent posts of James that all orders have been accounted for and that our mags will be shipped immenently. I'm chilling 'til post Christmas in the hopes I didn't slip through the cracks again. I really believe all mags will be delivered in the next couple weeks. Now if my order is lost and FBMG is to make it right- as posted above- I will graciously accept a Barrett light .50 as compensation for my suffering (or a spare 20 rounder)! Everyone should be getting their mags over the next couple of days. That was a lot of packages. (they literally filled the back of my truck with a camper shell). The post office folks had a heart attack when I showed up. So figure with USPS delays over Christmas traffic, you should all be getting your magazines shortly. Some of the orders got out of order and we missed some of you that ordered early. It was nothing malicious. Then we filled them as fast as we could based upon what parts we had on hand. Every order has been shipped. You know what guys, I risked my HOUSE on building these magazines. After years of the saiga community getting dicked around by con artists, we stepped up to the plate and made these things. It isn't like the magazine fairy brings us parts and we make one mag at a time. We get buckets of parts at a time, and then build them, and ship them to the people who we think were next in line. By the time that I was aware that I had personally screwed up and put some of your orders back into the stack, it was too late and we had to wait for the next batch of parts. That is all. It isn't anything personal, and frankly I'm surprised that some of you feel so personally slighted. The only reason that the people who ordered last week just got their magazines is because we had enough parts on hand to fill everything. That's it. Those of you who were on the preorder, who were mistakenly put further back in line, still managed to get a 27% discount. I'm sorry for the wait, but the mistake happened. That's it. Your magazines are now on the way, and if you don't get them now, it's because your mailman decided he wants some new .308 magazines.
