Juggernaut 11,054
I'm embarrassed to ask but, are the two holes on the Shark Break intended to face upward or downward? My gut tells me up. Just want to be sure prior to tack welding it, Thanks!

badman400 3
Just got my Shark Brake in the mail today. Thnx for the fast shipping Tony! I'd planned on a little locktite in lieu of a "tack weld"...any helpful comments on installation from the learned aboard?
Red Jacket 329
I'd try the lock-tite first , the last 3 or 4 i've put on have really indexed in pretty tight . you can always set-screw or tack later .
GTwannabe 1
You could try silver-soldering it. Loctite needs high pressure to cure properly.
Juggernaut 11,054
The only reason I'm going with the tack weld is that in Michigan all Long Guns must be >30" smallest configuration to be legal. as most of you know a Saiga mod w/a folder comes in at 29". So to be legal here in MI. it has to be "permanent". (Right now I have added a goofy looking block to the backend of my ACE adapter to meet my legal 30") I am hoping to find a good enough gunsmith in my area that could tack it good enough so if I ever wanted a different muzzle device, I could remove it w/o any damage to my gun. Any one know a better way of making it "permanent" other than a tack weld? Edited December 30, 2006 by Juggernaut
