cajun 0 Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 The 7.62x39 five rd. AK mag will work in a Saiga, with a feed ramp, and you can shorten the follower to make a 10 rd. magazine. I've got five rd. .223 AK mags, and shortening the follower to make a 10 rd. magazine takes about 5 minutes with a hack saw and file, less with a bandsaw. They sell for under $5.
