vjor 2 Posted January 9, 2007 Report Share Posted January 9, 2007 (edited) I was looking around and for people that want a ultimak scope mount on there gun but use the traditional front Saiga hand guard. What you see in the pic is a vepr ultimak rail, the pic is not mine but decide to use it as sample, the vepr ultimak rail can be got at black jacks buffers by it self with out the Vepr hand guard, you will need to cut the Saiga hand guard to accommodate it, but no really hard work just a hand saw and patience, now the rest of the stuff like the front site is sale by ACE if you going that way, flash hiders and anything else is up to you to find and pick what you want on your gun. Now in some .223 you may need shims in other you may not for the Vepr ultimak rail, stuff is not cheap but looks cool, I guess easy to do no really a lot of home gun smith, or I may be wrong to hard for you guys to do. No Bros, U can use anything you want for butt stock, that post is just to give people Ideas on what they can do with little tools to a Saiga rifle, just tired no new ideas on how things can be made easy for stuff to look cool and be practical. I canot ever recommend the Ultimak gas tube sight platform. POSSIBLY on the S-12 shotty, but NEVER on a rifle. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I like the looks of the skeltonized metal stock, don't have a picture right now. The thing with the M4 stock is everyone is using it now, shotguns, SKS etc...
