topmaul 42
I just had a 7.62x39 AKM style muzzle break put on a SaIGA .223 and it works great. We will be using it in a 3 gun match tomarrow range report to follow. http://www.blackjackbuffers.com/index.php?...products_id=358 Here is the break we installed on the .223 Saiga We did try it out and Eric put twenty hits on a paper plate as fast as he could fire from about 20 yards, with to just off the plate. Eric is good at double taps, very fast. Edited January 20, 2007 by topmaul

Bad Bob 0
I just had a 7.62x39 AKM style muzzle break put on a SaIGA .223 and it works great. Eric is good at double taps, very fast. I put a similar brake on my .223 Saiga (got it for about $10 plus shipping on Gunbroker - great deal for a US-made brake ;>), and I've been very happy with it. From what I've read, they do a great job of reducing recoil (not that you really need that on a semi-auto Saiga), and an equally good job in terms of reducing muzzle flash. The only (potential) down-side: muzzle blast / noise is apparently pretty extreme for anyone who is next to you when you're firing it. (I can't say for certain, about the muzzle blast - I like my Saiga so dang much I haven't let anyone else fire it yet. The .223 Saigas are just 'sweet'... ;>)
topmaul 42
In my humble opinion that break shown above works great on the S .
