Mephis 82
Got my AK mount in for my NPZ PO4x24 "AK version" they call it. That mount was meant for unconverted saigas only, apparently. Now she really works like she should. Switching bases moved the scope forward 2 inches. Also, gotta love the CSSPEC magazines.

RED333 1,025
Converted my 308 to day. Scope rail is my make up, flipped the sight leaf, drilled and taped to mount the front end of the rail, rear is a piece of steel I had laying around, drilled through the tang to secure the rear of the rail. Reused trigger guard, FCG is one I made up from parts. Quad rail is a S12 quad I "made" work. We got out and did a little sight testing and it held 3" at 100 yards. Did not have enough time to sight in proper, it is close "enough" for now. Now no more comments about selling mags to buy parts to convert, or "stone him" for not converted.

I like the look of the handle but I wish the edges on the charging side were a little smoother. They dig into my finger if I dont grab it just rite, not a huge problem but still annoying. I was debating on which one to get from CSS while ordering conversion parts, seems like I made the wrong choice. I just might take my Dremel to it and hope for the best.
