Defndr90 0
I just got a POSP 8x42 scope today. It seemed really long in the store but now that it is mounted I can not use it comfortably. The stock seems an inch or two too long. I did not want to do a conversion on this yet but now I am thinking it will be the only way to put on a shorter stock. Has anyone else had this problem? buckandaquarterquarterstaff 5
Yep, same problem with my 4x. I ultimately went with a warsaw pact length conversion. It's much shorter, and makes the whole package more handy (espec in a 16 in). I think the POSP's were designed to use the shorter warsaw/nato stocks, but that's just my guess on why the POSP doesn't have a huge eye relief. You could also shorten the original equipment stock if you needed to.
Defndr90 0
Does anyone know how much shorter the Skeletonized Buttstock is over the standered one? I was really hopeing to keep this one stock and maybe get a .223 to do a conversion on later.
LESchwartz 9
They used to sell a "Saiga clamp" which you could use instead of the AK style clamp you currently on the scope. Puts the scope about 1-1/2" further back. I haven't seen then for awhile though. Larry
