flydutch 2
Is there such a thing as a Saiga-12 Owner's Manual? If yes, has anyone scanned and posted it to the forum?

Bvamp 604
the link for the EAA manual has been in my signature line for a couple of years now. I have it uploaded to this forum's host site, in case EAA takes it down, so it will always work.

marvin42 2
anyone know if the factory sights have screws to remove? if so what size & TPI (threads per ...)
Cobra 76 two 2,677
There are two kinds of factory S-12 sights available to us in the US. Niether have any screws to remove. The rifle type sights are removed by driving the rear sight out of the dovetail with a hammer and punch, the front is a threaded bead that unscrews counterclockwise. The vent rib style sight is removed by drifting out a small pin holding the rear of the rib to the rear support, then unscrewing the elevation adjustment wheel counterclockwise, while holding the locking spring up with a punch, until the rib can be lifted off. Then you drive the rear support out just like the rifle sights. I've heard someone, think it was Tony, say it was easier to drive it out from a certain direction but I always drive them out right to left with no probs.

The 2000 manual does not cover the gas setting explanation. Here is a link.. look under EAA Saiga and use the username and password that is on the site. http://www.biggerhammer.net/manuals/ Thanks Edited April 21, 2007 by acetomatoco
