Answer the question! Taking everything into account.

Only got Russian 5 and 8 (plus one joined to give a 12) so at the moment has to be between those two. 8s are a bit unwieldy for game shooting so I had to vote for 5s. WHEN I get my AGP 10s and Mike's drum maybe a different answer (though bunny bashing with 20 rounds in not only unsporting it's very expensive!!).

Different sizes for different purposes. The two rdr is the only option for bird hunting here. The AGP ten is the shiznit for just plinking, 8rd Izzy coming in close second. The 5rd Izzy is good for bench shooting slugs, beyond that I don't use em.

Haven't tried any frankenmags in the 12 yet...Same goes for the drums....we'll see I guess.

I'm always looking to add to my mag collections so if they make another one, I want one!

post-3950-1178734648_thumb.jpgBoth of my Izzy 8's hold 9 rounds, and will feed them with no problems.............

They're marginally shorter than my AGP 10's, and just 1 round short in capacity between them........I tend to use the 8's more, but I love to shoot the 10's !!! They create a great visual !!! 10-rounder in the pic...........

I voted for the drums, though I currently have 10-rounders since the drums are not yet available. I'm all for the largest available reservoir of BANG I can get. I have to admit, though, that the five-rounder I got with the gun is a handy little critter for some applications.

I voted 8rd, but I would love to get my hands on a couple Russian 2rders.

I saw 2rd mags at Gilberts. They're imported from Russia in a 5rd mag body, weird....but legal

As for size I dont hunt with mine so 8-10 is good. Drums are neat but I don't use the rifle ones I have now.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll give them a call after work!

No bigger Frankenmags than 10!?

No bigger mags with +2 pad!?

No bigger drum than 20!?

No double-mag feed systems!?

No "other than previous ones" selection!?

Voted for drum since no better option was availlable. The bigger the mag the better for IPSC. :D

I havent even had the chance to use the 10rd AGP but from what people keep saying they arent 100% If some of them dont work, dont fit in the mag well, require modification to function properly...

My vote go's to the 8rd russian mags because they all work right out of the box. Im not the kind of guy who wants to fuck with a mag, let alone one that costs between $50-60 Ea. to make it function. The two extra rounds arent worth it.

All of the Russian mags come with directions on how to fit them to the gun. Many don't require anything, but I've had a couple of 8 round mags that had to be filed on to make it catch in my gun.

Talked to MickPorno (used to post here), he bought 4 mags from my mini "group purchase" and he says that all 4 of them are having shells dragging in them issues, but I bought like 30 (I kept 6) and none of mine are bad, and checked with some that purchased the others and none of theres is bad ....

My point is maybe he's done something to the mags (doubt it) or is using shells that are slightly larger?

Seriously, I cannot vote for 1 mag type. We need 2rd for waterfowl, 5 round for GP, 10rd sticks and 20 rd drums for Zombies... etc. What makes the 12ga and especially the Saiga so useful is the infinite utility of the design. This is the 'swiss army knife' of shotguns. And various mags have their various uses. Choosing one and ONLY one is just too limiting!

factory 8rd.

What about 20 rouds? MAXROUNDS.COM

20rds drum. Simply the best as my 1911. :haha:

And it takes 3''(Powermag700). Sometimes i like living in Europe. :D

How much does the owner of MaxRounds pay you guys to hype up their drum?

I typically like the 100 page swimsuit issues, personally. :smoke:
What he said^^

I voted for 10+. If this poll were new today, I'm pretty sure the 12rd mags would win hands down. They're durable and a lot cheaper than drums, and they keep the gun sitting flat on a surface or taking up minimal room in a safe/case/etc.

Why the no sure fire mags in the poll?

If it was up there, I would vote for a 8 round sure fire.

The russian mags are ok, but hurt when it comes to 922r

check out the OP date of the poll..... may have something to do with it....
