jeffmack 0
How do I pop the rear sight out of a saiga rifle? Tried applying pressure. Tried screw driver on tip of leaf spring. Would a very tiny C-clamp pressing down on the sight work?

You need a lot of pressure on the tip of the leaf spring while pulling on the sight leaf itself at a low angle so it follows the groove in the mount. Sometimes it's easier with an extra set of hands. TheGunHustler 3
take you flat blade screw driver and place it in the grove. (try to put the gun in a gun vice cleaning stand or a regular vice. that helps a lot.) hold the screw driver tight with one hand and with you other hand slap you plam really hard on the back of the screw driver(trying to push the sight down and rear ward at the same time) it may take a few tries but it will work. that is the exzact info that came with my krebs rear sight. pm me if you need more help Edited June 1, 2007 by TheGunHustler
