TheToE 0
I purchased a x39 20" yesterday for 269.00 locally. After reading the manual, I stripped it down and oiled it up, and I plan on shooting it next weekend. Is there any advice you guys have as far as break in or anything else I should know? P.S. This forum rocks, it gave me the motivation to make the purchase!
Bvamp 604
make sure you rod the bore good, in case there is any storage buildup in there, is pretty much it.

Any brand to stay away from? My boss at work has a guy he buys cases of ammo from for 200.00 for x39. Is that a decent price?

Depends on the brand of Ammo, if you go to cheaperthandirt.com you can get a case without shipping of Wolf Mil-Spec for $209. So far thats the best steel cased ammo I have found.. although ithe last case i bought was 180.
