eadodd 0
Look at the Springfield XD-45 comes in several sizes. Its a great gun and you can't go wrong.
DogMan 2,343
Springfield XD .40 cal. subcompact. Usually its in my truck's console. Whether I take it with me when I get out just depends on where I'm at, daylight or dark, etc. If I need it on short excursions into a store or whatever, and depending on how I'm dressed, I'll either tuck it into my waistband inside the shirt, crossdraw on my left hip, or if my jacket cover it, in my right rear pants pocket. That way I can either present my real wallet or a "surprise" depending on the circumstances. Its a safe gun to carry like that despite all the skeptics. On longer hikes I'll put it in a kydex paddle type holster.
Norseman 0
Glock 30 or Ruger SP101 in .357 Magnum, Depends on my mood. -E

DrWho 10
usually just 1 extra, but since springfield just sent me 2 more with tactical holster or what ever they call it, why not.. 64 rounds of 9mm..
scarbrough68289 76
I just got a new Beretta PX4 9mm 17+1. Got lucky and picked up the type F LE version with 3 magazines. Love this gun so far. Will eventually get a .45 but I wanted something cheaper to practice with since I am a fairly new shooter.

DavidQ 170
Hopefully soon (within a week) I will be getting an FNP-9 with (3) 16 round mags, stainless, matte black.
hoop762 0
i carry a SIG P226 and every blue moon my beretta M9, but i normally wear jeans, cargos, or some sort of utility pant/shorts. would never think to carry the 226 or M9 in gym shorts or anything along those lines, just to big and heavy.....but disappears in jeans under a t-shirt
DavidQ 170
Well I got it and it looks great. $390 shipped to me and $20 to transfer from my local FFL dealer. The only bad part is that it is the DAO version of the FNP9-M. From what I understand it is discontinued and hard to find the M version, compact version. I will be shooting it this weekend to see how it shoots. Here are some pics.
Stansplace 414
Ahh, my newbie post. Springfield XD .40 subcompact. Put it in a Don Hume IWB holster and faaaahgetaboutit. I have MANY pistols and have carried a little of everything in many different concealed systems. This is by far my favorite.

renegadebuck 16
My favorite is a Para Ordnance P-12. Compact, 12 rds 45, accurate and reliaible. I carry a Berretta Cheetah 13 shot .380 and a Colt compact 1911 at times. The Colt is thinner and easier to hide in the summer. Here's the Para and 3 CD's with 4 shots each at 25 yds,

Dirty 4
I carry a sig P226 in 9 mm. A great weapon, bought it used for less than $450 before the gun craze. I used to carry a snub nose .38. Let me tell you something, I miss that gun, (never should of got rid of it). You could put in your front pocket with a shirt untucked and forget all about it. Something most people don't think of is that if you have to use that weapon, once the police are involved, you'll never see it again. My point is that for an everyday carry that may be used in self defence, dropping a ton of cash on one wont pay off. Get a decent shooter that your comfortable with, and wont break the bank. Hell search the used market.
