Saiga 12 from Red Jacket

Recommended Posts

Alrighty got this new toy from Will at Red Jacket Firearms.

Its a Saiga 12 coverted by Will & the boys at Red Jacket with a Tromix folding stock, H&K style sights, Galil charging handle, shark muzzle break, and Russian foregrip with rail.

I have to say its a gorgeous gun!!! The finish is outstanding (wish my pics could do it justice) as well as the quality of the build.

That's a sweet looking S-12 there!

Just wondering about the ergo pistol grip. I'm not too hip on the SAW grip that I had Tony install. I'd like to add one of those ergos to my saiga. Where'd ya get it and how much?

Had it to the range yet?

Cheers,

-T

EAA grip.... I think I heard recently that they are not American made, so double check your part numbers.

Thanks for all the comments on the Shotgun.

Price was very reasonable. I was getting other work done by Will so that might have helped.

The grip he had in stock and its very comfortable I must say.

Hopefully this weekend I can take it out and see what it can do.

I had a grip like that on a sagia-12 I once owned  , and I can say, compared to the saw grip or basic ak grip, it is far superiour in both comfort and control.

Blackjack has a very similar grip that's US made and has rubberized finger grooves and a locking plug and storage compartment in the bottom. Just bought one for $25. I believe the one on this gun is the original TDI version that the new ones are a copy of. I've got both.

Sweet gun man! Another notch in the cool post for Will.
