Jroberts1968 32
What is the best type of trigger group and folding butt stock to purchase for converting this gun?
kresk 10,063
Most people use the Tapco G2 single hook trigger group. I like the Ace folder, but there are others, e.g. a Lage (Tromix) stock. Don't think you'd want a Romy wire folder unless you enjoy pain.
DAMAGE855 0
Depends on your preference. I went with the ace folder and have no regrets. also makes adding a pistol grip easier cause you just have to run a bolt through the adapter block and your done and ready to Edited August 2, 2007 by DAMAGE855
Ronswin 26
I used the G-2 trigger group and the Ace side folder. The Ace stock comes in three different lengths and has different thickness butt-pads which can be added. The pads are highly recommended as they are a soft, almost silicone-like rubber and soak up recoil from buck or slugs quite well. The Ace is a little pricey, but IMHO is worth the cost. Etek 32
RSA www.redstararms.com makes a NICE adjustable trigger group but it's pricey. The G2 group is quite popular and works well on most Kalasnikovs and variants. Do NOT use a Century made group as they are reverse engineered crap and causes quite painful trigger 'slap'. If the hammer or trigger has a 'C' stamped on it it's a Century and therefore garbage.
