If it is one of those mounts that fits the AK rails, their is an adjustment screw nob thing that you might have to adjust to get it to slide on. That was the main problem with mine, but once I adjusted it, it fit like a glove.... Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If this is the case , the latch/lever may need to be adjusted. If it will not even start onto the rail on the side of the reciever, then it might be made for a different AK.
