pjones 0
Hi, I've been reading the threads about conversions and 922® compliance, and I am confused on parts counts. Does the law require you to have at least 10 USA made parts or no more than 10 foreign made parts to have "evil" features such as a pistol grip and hi-cap magazine? layer 0
Wow, there are ten to choose from! trigger disconnector hammer gas piston mag body mag floorplate mag follower pistol grip handguard butt stock Pick five if you do a PG conversion, otherwise four. I currently have US made: trigger disconnector hammer mag body mag floorplate pistol grip butt stock I like having seven because I can still use the factory mags and be in full compliance. Although I still think this "law" is a joke, as a union man I like to buy American whenever possible.
MD_Willington 11
well if I had a galil mag adaptor I could do the 3 US mag parts too as I have a .223... that way I could use US M16 magazines... but I don't have an adaptor...
Digital_Hate 1
ok so ive been reading about the 922 compliance and have a question also. how does this benafit those of us in kommifornia. it seems like it give the added advantage of high cap mags to others but im under the impression us in kalifornia still cant have high caps or other evil features? reoiv 1
Well you can't convert the Saiga to pistol grip because of the AWB and there isn't a US made 10 round or less mag on the market yet so pretty much you have to leave your Saiga stock if you're even allowed to own a Saiga in Cali since it is based off the AK47 design.
